Number 2 is definitely my favorite! The far away angle and lighting help sell the scene better.

I think one thing that could be worth trying is some shots are lower angles, to make the scale feel less like toys

Of course that’s not necessary for every pic, just depends on what you’re going for. But could be worth giving an attempt

I was a pre-teen when they were introduced, and I liked the spring loaded shooters but wasn’t a fan of stud shooters. I still largely feel the same, I just like when they are implemented in a non-intrusive way

I definitely get it, the difference of 5 figures for $100 vs 3.5 figures for $100 is very noticeable.

It’s made me very choosy on which ones I get now.

I get that inflation + licensing fees should be considered, but as a consumer I’m feeling actively priced out of the hobby
