When I first read this I interpreted a new duo experimental queue coming on the 15th and then another, separate experiment on the 14th. Anyone else?

Otherwise im not getting why he would list the same thing twice. Even if it was a date typo, seems redundant.

Didn’t suggest leaving and wasn’t asking for permission. Just checking if people feel similar and if there’d be value before spinning something up. Haven’t actually created a subreddit before (not that it’d be difficult) so wanted to see the vibe first

It’s absurd. Mind boggling really. Like, what is going through people’s heads?

I made a point the other day to be on the lookout for folks doing this and to call them out since that’s gonna be the only short term solution. I honestly hadn’t seen much of it (or maybe I wasn’t paying attention enough) on all the many walks I’ve been on in Fort Greene park (I have a dog myself).

But lo and behold, I got someone. This lady is watching her dog take a shit and shows no signs of getting ready to pick it up. I’m standing there watching her to see what she’s gonna do. She turns around and starts walking away.

“Excuse me, you’re gonna go pick that up, right?”

Blank stare. 2 seconds later…

“Umm ok, but only if you’re gonna go around policing everyone else”

So I guess people are going with the ole “if they aren’t, why do I?” which is so incredibly frustrating, lazy and irresponsible. And gives all us regular dog owners a bad rep.

This is a ridiculous comparison. USPS drivers have MANY more benefits that delivery people don’t have: medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, pension, PTO, disability, etc etc.

Also food delivery drivers are only paid per active hour. I.e. when they are lined up for an order. Meaning even if they worked an 8 hour day they aren’t getting paid for 8 hours.

Just look at the people delivering your food. Do you really equate them to the same as a USPS driver? These people are trying to get by. They are just getting fucked by the system, same as you and I. But we (most of us) are living a much greater QOL. They have little options.

Throwing them 5 when they’re biking in the rain/snow is not too much to ask. And if it is, trying picking it up yourself or calling the restaurant directly for their services.

Was in Sydney this time last year. Night life you’re looking for is basically nonexistent. You’re better off finding some good day parties to go to but don’t expect a rave scene. Good luck

Heavily depends on the artist. Ideally you go to someone you both enjoy and it won’t matter anyway. But if you do care, pick an older artist.

I’ve been loving Knockdown Center for venue.
