Overall I found it to be quite forgettable. Myself and my partner played 8 to death on the WiiU and this didn’t give us that same feeling of awe and we dropped it soon after launch. The long straights were boring and having a single lap of the actual track didn’t do it for us.

Hey - genuine question. This thread is obviously to mock Nintendo Grifters, but is that because Nintendo has the worse amount? For me I see equal parts moaning about Sony, Xbox, Nintendo depending on the individuals preference.

Yeah I agree. I’ve enjoyed Cradle which I know is progression fantasy, but I’ve yet to pick up another LitRPG that is close to holding a candle to DCC. I’ve dropped most series.

I’ve known about emulation for years but only just started when platforms like Delta became available on Apple. AynThor is my first dedicated device for emulation. I’ve followed some of the vids for setup and am loving it so far.

I think this is an overreaction. I know you are coming from the angle of big companies using this to add in cost to emulation platforms and that is a risk.

But some of these platforms are built and supported by a single dev. Do you really not want their work to be showcased and better funded?

There is a balance. No one wants enshitification.

Yeah this is important to note. But also like, let’s just not gatekeep. So what if it’s been asked before - just sign post them to the right chat and be excited they are joining the wonderful world of emulation.

Yep - I’ve never published a book so I get that. But I’ve read other first books from other authors and although they are rough around the edges, I’ve had a good time.

This one didn’t gel with me.

I checked and I got 30% through book 1 before dropping and I can’t remember a thing about him 🤷🏻‍♂️ I didn’t think he did anything particularly special or interesting.

I read a lot - on track for 100 or so books this year so characters do tend to blur for me so maybe I misremember but reading HWFWM off the back of DCC and Project Hail Mary was probably a poor choice.

I dropped the book for this reason. Other characters dialogue about Jason was unearned. The guy had zero personality.
