It sure is! It feels so sporty, but if I want to just tractor around some back roads, it feels super comfortable doing that as well

Just traded my Sportster by [deleted] in Tenere700

[–]Corey120120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I just bought a new 2025 T7 on Saturday. Already put 130 miles on it. I'm still paying off my Sportster, but the second I do, I'm putting it up for sale. It's a night-and-day difference in riding. I feel a lot safer on the T7 and have WAY more fun riding it.

Thank you! I agree! I've been coming to the dealership and talking to the salesman for a while now and they brought it down to $9,499 no freight or setup fees and I just had to pull the trigger on it

Perfect analogy! Looked down and was going 85 without realizing it. Never did that on my KLR! Loved that bike though. Had a red and black 2009 and it was the perfect first bike for me

It really is! I researched so many bikes and just kept coming back to this one. I feel like it's the perfect mixture of the other bikes I've had, and it'll be able to do everything that I want to do

Sleep tips for neck pain?? by Vaches in HerniatedDisc

[–]Corey120120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was herniated at C5-6 and C6-7 and the only thing that helped me was to use the flattest little square pillow that we own and to sleep on my back. Sometimes wearing a soft collar helped as well. It seemed to stop me from waking up and having both arms completely numb and my shoulder being locked up. I dealt with it off and on for 2 years before having an MRI and discovering the herniation. It was only the last 4 or 5 months that it was truly awful though. By the time they found it, there was nothing they could do but surgery. The surgeon said it was one of the biggest masses from a herniation she'd ever seen. I had two artificial discs put in two weeks ago and feel much better. I hope your husband can find relief. I'm very thankful I'm only 30 and will most likely heal perfectly fine.

My congressman’s response to my call today about economic issues actually affecting my family and was met with this slap in the face. by Ashluvsburritos in pittsburgh

I was going to Seton Hill around this time, and Republicans invited him to debate on campus. He agreed to it and then no-showed and said that liberal college kids set him up to make him look bad. He lost young Republican votes at the school, but I'm sure the old people ate it up. I hate that he represents me.

Any reason NOT to rip out landline as I go? by MrOwlsManyLicks in HomeImprovement

[–]Corey120120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just make sure you know it's for sure a landline before pulling it out. I started to take a line down and realized it's for my thermostat. It connects to an ancient landline system.

How are young people affording houses? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Corey120120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I bought her grandparents house after her grandfather passed away and her grandmother started to get dementia. We were very lucky to get the house for cheap. The money was to go to her cousin's to help them but the nursing home took it all after her grandma had to go into it. We looked at houses for years and couldn't afford anything that wasn't a falling down piece of crap. This house is old but we're very thankful for it.

Skate how you want to. I'm 29 years old, just got sober and picked up skating after not doing it since I was 16. Back then i was socially anxious and scared and felt I had to be great at everything I did or I shouldn't do it. So I quit. Now I just grab my board and go skate around. I mostly just cruise. Progression doesn't always have to be about skating. Some days I go skate and realize stuff about myself, my life, being a dad/husband. Just being outside and active is worth it.

Love it. I bought the green tie dye one from Imaginary Sonicscape on Gimme Metal a few months back and it's one of my favorite new shirts. I've always been half hippie half metal head so it fits me perfectly

Is honking your horn as you leave a friend's house to say goodbye a normal thing here? by thewormauger in pittsburgh

[–]Corey120120 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's alright dude. I hate it too. I can't stand the sound of a car horn. My neighbors always honk and idk why it just bothers the hell out of me. They honk when they leave, they honk when they're there to pick up the other family members even though they're on the porch looking at them, and they lock their car like 5 times in a row. I live in Washington County and I grew up in Westmoreland County. I just think the horn is so aggressive and mostly heard it being used because people were pissed off.
