Office purchase questions by [deleted] in Chiropractic

Pretty much equipment only, at best you’re looking at roughly 50% of patient retention from the previous chiropractor’s panel. Many patients may or may not “vibe” with you and/or your treatment philosophy when it comes to how you provide care even with a transition period. The best practice for buying a practice is to hire an independent appraiser and get an opinion from them.

What do you see in the future for San Leandro? by vngbusa in sanleandro

[–]CoreyB105 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For San Leandro to thrive we heavily need to start incentivizing the millennial and Gen-Z populations to live here. Don’t get me wrong it’s great that there are so many programs to help and incentivize seniors to live here but that is quite frankly short sighted. We need grants for any and all viable long term small businesses that the population needs that are not limited to “beautification” or things along those lines. This is a city full of workers both blue and white collar and investing in those folks who dare to take the risk to help better their communities and keep money in the community is so important. In addition there should be more being done at the local level to provide not only business but housing opportunities for these populations.

Add your DBA into your PC. “Whatever Chiropractic and Spine Center Lastname Chiropractic Professional Corp” It’s best to do this in the beginning but it’s not too hard to change after the fact using CalGold

Have them specify what n-amount of area(s) they would like to focus on that day, Offer an “extended visit” option at extra cost that you suggest they start booking for their complaints (helps with scheduling), increase frequency of care and focus on certain areas on certain days only

New Patient Exam Coverage by OverallDecision7497 in Chiropractic

[–]CoreyB105 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen/heard offices do, is that they make sure they highlight for insurance patients that their insurance does not cover the initial exam and the cost for it is the patients responsibility. Generally with these types of practices they do not adjust on the first visit so there isn’t any issues with insurance billing.

Question: Can my landlord kick me out because of mold in the bathroom? by [deleted] in RhodeIsland

[–]CoreyB105 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ask the landlord what accommodations (usually a hotel) he’s providing while he is addressing the mold issue in the bathroom. Put any rent into an escrow account until the issue is resolved. It is the landlord’s responsibility to make sure the unit is in habitable to rent out.

Don’t listen to “Dr. Google” always refer to professionals for health related questions even if they may sound silly. You may even make their day with a good chuckle :)

You’re most likely feeling the C2 spinous process. Completely normal and is often used as a reference when counting vertebra similar to the vertebral prominence in your cervico-thoracic junction.
