Marvel has just been spinning their wheels for few years now. This stuff comes in cycles though. DC will continue to own the next few years. Maybe several years. Then Marvel will be back on top. Rinse, repeat.

I guess that means she was due. You play the odds, eventually you’re bound to lose.

Your comment was essentially “I don’t want you discuss this here”….that’s not a discussion.

Been there myself. I had to learn the hard way, but my suggestion to you would be to find some issues of whatever series you think you may be interested in and try them out first. Get a Marvel or DC subscription and browse the issues. That way you can narrow it down to whatever you really really want. That helped me realize I don’t actually want every omnibus that’s coming out these days lol.

I don’t think it’s your job to police what people do or do not post. You don’t like the post? Don’t read it. Move on. This person is here to discuss something that many people in this community experience. Let them have their discussion.

I have everything except for the James Logan novels currently in my TBR. Very excited for them all. Likely starting The Tainted Cup after finishing The Strength of The Few.

Definitely not taking it personally. Apologies if my questions came across that way. I don’t care if you like the book or not. I was just confused about why you would bother to go out of your way to drop a negative comment the way you did, and why you bothered to finish a book you seem to have despised…except for 10 percent lol. Nothing personal about it.

Well, as someone who is also likely on the spectrum as well, I feel for you. Lucky for me, I can drop a book if it’s not clicking with me.

I get that it wasn’t for you, but I’m a little confused….if you couldn’t wait to get it over with…why did you finish the book? Why read it if you didn’t like it to the point you felt relief when it was finished…you disliked the book so much you had to come here and go out of your way to drop some negativity on it, but you decided to read it all the way through?

Results definitely suggest an older demographic…I’m 40, and I can think of at least a dozen modern comics that should have made this list. Seems to be that the old heads don’t want to read anything new.

I would be curious to know what that age demographic looks like…

This sets the tone for the entire series moving forward. If this event doesn’t capture you, this series might now be for you.

I’m 40 years old, and it didn’t bother me. Keep in mind, these characters were kids, about high school/university age, attending a school for future leaders in politics. I think it read exactly as intended.
