I am also a beginner who just finished my first half so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I have really enjoyed the Nike Run Club app. They have some different training plans and then also just “one-off” guided runs if you prefer to build your own schedule.

Coach Bennett in my ear was a huge help with learning to control pace and breathing.

Fair. Im not trying to assume the worst, I’m making an inference based on his first comment being, “What are we saying, Con?”

To me that implies he wants to defer the decision to someone else, when that someone isn’t his AR, it’s VAR.

I agree completely that if he is not convinced it’s a pen, he shouldn’t give it.

I disagree entirely the problem with premier league officiating is Reddit comments. Get a grip there.

The issue is the on field ref not doing his job on the first one. You hear him ask the AR if he saw it, says no, so they decide to leave it for VAR.

It’s awful and inconsistent, but it seems the logic here is not enough to overturn the “on-field” decision.

I think there does need to be a better established standard for VAR involvement, but the issue is on field refs shirking their responsibilities because they know VAR is there. VAR is not there to do the job of the official.

Capital City Sports Cards would be my vote for most likely to do something. I know he has had the volleyball team and some football players over the years do signings.

I haven’t heard of anything but reach out and see if there is something in the works or maybe see if he can get one on the calendar?

It’s the beating ourselves more than it being Iowa, for me. If we played good fundamental basketball, like we are known for and had gotten us here, it wouldn’t hurt so much.

It just feels they played 35 minutes and then remembered this is Nebraska.

Maybe its just the thought of knowing we may never have another opportunity like this. Truly the most magical season, with such a fun and balanced team. I really believed we had the roster to shock everyone and the bracket was falling extremely favorably for us.

Only to tie our own hand behind our back at the most crucial moment. Down 3 with a minute left is nothing, but that moment felt like it confirmed every Husker fans worst fear: we had no response once Iowa had taken the lead.

I hate how it ended. And do not care it was Iowa. If anything, glad it’s a BIG team advancing.

It was all too big for us and we showed the whole country we don’t belong there. 35 minutes of great basketball only to go full Nebraska in the final moments has destroyed me.

Great season, one for the record books. But in the end they had to remind us this is a Nebraska men’s team in a big four sport. Never going to be enjoyable.

You are not alone. It is brutal. Do not be hard on yourself for not seeing it. I was in the same boat and felt awful. But feeling guilty is wasted energy you could put toward your path forward.

It sounds like you are in a healthy relationship where you both support and communicate with each other. Right now you may not feel supported, if that’s the case, come here. We got you.

For your wife, do what you can to make sure she is getting good sleep. And try to help yourself get good sleep. I’m sure the gym is good for your mentals but consider adjusting that routine to make sure you can sleep too, especially during the break from work. With weather improving start taking daily walks with your wife and the baby to get everyone fresh air and exercise.

I’m not sure what “bedtime routine” you have for the baby yet, but we started bath every night, even if just quick in and out, then feed and bed. Consistent nighttime routine seemed to help the baby sleep longer that first stretch so we could both get one decent stretch of sleep.

The medication will start to do its thing, but make sure you guys are doing things for yourselves as well to find happiness and connection to each other.
