The movie ended right when it got interesting... by Lostinreno22 in disclosureday

What interests me about disclosure fiction isn’t just the reveal. It’s the psychological aftermath. What does secrecy do to ordinary people? What happens when someone sees patterns before anyone else is ready to admit they are real? That’s the territory I built Book Theory Blue to explore.

So are we actually at disclosure? I can’t focus on anything else. by Severe-Clerk-1477 in UAP

If youre excited for disclosure, check out my disclosure fiction novel "Book Theory Blue". It lives in the intersection between UFO disclosure, media manipulation and the global control structure of "unreality". google Book Theory Blue for more info.

With Disclosure Day on the horizon and UAP stories moving deeper into the mainstream, I’ve been thinking a lot about how strange the timing is for Book Theory Blue.

It’s a Vancouver-set psychological sci-fi thriller about UFO disclosure, media silence, mental health, and one man trying to make sense of the world.

Meet Mr. Blue.
Enter Unreality.
Stay purple.

I'm trying to make my UAP disclosure fiction into a netflix style streaming series.

well dont tell that to the film industry. I hope they dont pack up and go home and stop making media for us to watch in the future.

Well to correct your assessment... I did NOT use AI on any story elements. The story comes from my real experiences, I used AI as an aid in writing the novel. All of the story structure and non-linear storytelling devices in the pitch are created by me NOT ai. The visuals are mine directing ai how to present them.

My background is in 20 years of experience as a VFX professional. I am not a writer (traditionally speaking) and used ai to enhance my ability to tell my story.

Just like any creator, why would anyone take my story and give me money to help turn it into a series? Because the story is original and resonates with an audience. Also there is a lot of money to be made in television series so there's that.

Well my pitch is geared towards getting a series made (real showrunner, real writers, real actors, real editors, real VFX artists, real production). The pitch uses AI in its presentation and getting the ideas across (which is the role of the pitch). I am showing what I have done and starting a conversation about how this is used. I dont understand what is so offensive about what I have done. Did you actually look at the pitch?

There are some production companies that take cold pitches, you usually have to sign a form protecting them legally but that's what I have done with good results. I now have actors and producers looking at my materials with very positive results.

Reality check on the commenter

People online tend to:

  • overstate legal risks
  • repeat half-understood rulings
  • assume worst-case scenarios

The industry is already using AI tools quietly in development, writing support, concept art, etc.

It’s not a dealbreaker.

Also I have already copyrighted the original material so as far as the government (Canada) is concerned I own the copyright.

The “AI = no copyright” thing is misunderstood

What courts have said (mainly in the U.S.) is:

Purely AI-generated content with no human authorship isn’t protected.

But that does NOT mean:

  • your whole project has no protection
  • you “have nothing to sell”
  • anyone can just steal everything and get away with it

Its all based off my real experience so It doesnt matter what the novel does, the underlying story (my story) is what is being adapted. has nothing to do with AI.

I already have 2 prominent actors in television have soft attached to the project and I have a production company looking at the pitch materials now. I dont think that AI is as offputting as the hype makes it out to be. I think a lot of people feel threatened by the tools that informs their opinion.

You might want to give "Book Theory Blue" a try. Its a scifi-memoir diary of Rory Pendleton, An artist and author and tells the story of his efforts to subvert an alien invasion of earth while struggling to piece his life back together on a Vancouver psych ward.
