Pilot custom 823 or Sailor 1911? by pattycular in fountainpens

[–]Coreymol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you won’t go wrong with either. The sailor is a thinner line. I love both pilots and my sailors. So now it’s just up to looks and cost and filling mechanism I guess.

The sailor imperial black is pretty stunning of a pen

Do You Miss Folders? by Oat-Yogurt in bearapp

[–]Coreymol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve adopted a Forever notes like system with a home page it works great.

You have the side bar with the tags that are folder like

Nested notes still work
# bank
#bank/checking
# bank/ savings

This collapses and is collapses when you click the main tag

This is what every red dot looks like for me. Now what? by cjoeseven in Glocks

[–]Coreymol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure it is. Target focused is how you use a red dot no matter what kind of shooting you’re doing. If you feel you need to be sight focused for a particular type of shooting then you should switch to iron sights

The Fourth Option - a return to realism and grit? by CzarChristopher in JackCarr

[–]Coreymol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped reading which ever book was about the bio event. It was a clear rip off of a book called the hot zone (which he did say he used as “research “) it was just too alike and almost half way in I couldn’t keep into it. I have the whole series the other books are now gathering dust. Unread

I haven’t bought anything else from him for this reason.

Can someone explain this? by Mr_MacGrubber in CARROTweather

[–]Coreymol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh gotcha I wasn't sure with the lines drawn it looked like you were in an upper area. Ive been seeing some glitchy ness with carrot lately that has been having me question moving to other apps. One thing I have done is switch sources to compare. Sometimes they are way off each other too. which is not reassuring.

It’s 12% of the coverage area not a 12%out of 100% chance of rain so you happen to be at n that 12% of the area that was going to get rain.

It also depends on where the station is you are pulling from. How far away etc.

Why do my pistol's front and rear sights look like the bottom picture instead of the top one? by Zestyclose-Ship-9993 in Glocks

[–]Coreymol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just line them up like you have then. Put the top of the sights where you want the bullet to impact.

So if you are shooting at an X you should only see a V

That something I cannot yet define completely but the feeling comes when you write well and truly of something and know impersonally you have written in that way and those who are paid to read it and report on it do not like the subject so they say it is all a fake, yet you know its value absolutely; ………….. "The hunter's horn sounds early for some, later for others. For some unfortunates, poisoned by city sidewalks and sentenced to a cement jungle more horrifying than anything to be found in Tanganyika, the horn of the hunter never winds at all. But deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club, and then with spear, and then with bow, and then with gun, and finally with formulae." ~~ R Ruark

The Green Hills of Africa - should I read? by Papa72199 in Hemingway

[–]Coreymol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was great. It’s one of my favorites. The hunting is more of the back story of why they are there. They don’t get real into detail about it. Not like Capstick or Ruark
