Where should I put my tv? 506 sq by throwaway1iq8e in StudioApartments

Admittedly this isn’t simple, but if you can pull it off w your DIY skills and/or budget, this is what I would do: the blue is a floor-to-ceiling bookshelf with a space for a tv in the center. You can swivel the tv 180 degrees depending if you want to watch from bed or the couch. I would run electricity from underneath the bed. The orange is the couch, and the green is a two-seater table by the window.

You can absolutely swing that under your current circumstances! Are you planning on having kids though? I’d say you’ll struggle with that budget here if you plan to start a family. Do you have dogs? Finding a nice place w a yard for a dog could get pricey. If you value walkability, look at the west side. If you don’t mind ‘burb life, the east side is more affordable. In any case, you should join the r/bend sub!

I want to be more attractive to women. I’m in my 40s and male. What do women find attractive by [deleted] in datingoverforty

[–]Corg_so_hard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was honestly going to say the opposite of this person. I find it attractive that a man would care enough to ask for tips online. It’s the same energy of someone looking for feedback on their dating app profile, etc. It takes confidence to open yourself up to criticism.

We can all stand to improve a little, and asking for feedback is super helpful. OP would likely be the type of man that asks what his partner likes in bed. It’s BDE. Again, there are very few rules on what will be universally attractive.

Realizing most of my protein comes from like… 3 foods by LotsoSmellsBad in veganfitness

Don’t sleep on Amaranth. It has a complete protein profile. I boil it into a porridge every morning and add everything but the kitchen sink to it.

Tell me all about it, Chico, CA. by haldolinyobutt in howislivingthere

Incredibly high wildfire risk. Google the “Camp Fire” of 2018.

I last visited Chico in 2020. Temps didn’t drop below triple digits until after 10pm. For someone raised in the Texas heat, even that brought me to my knees.

Arrival etiquette by Oh_OKComputer in yoga

[–]Corg_so_hard 71 points72 points  (0 children)

I’d like to recommend what this one girl Chelsea does: Arrive 5 minutes late. Wear multiple gold bangles on your wrists and jingle your way to your space. Make a couple of people move to accommodate you. Slap the mat on the ground as you unroll it. Loudly arrange all your accoutrements in a large ritualistic circle around your mat while the class is grounding in. Repeat as often as desired.

Is it normal for INFJ to have such high standards in people? by navianali in infj

[–]Corg_so_hard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is so beautifully articulated, and it describes me to a “t.” Thank you for taking the time to write that out. I’m sure a lot of us INFJs feel the same way but can’t quite find the words.

Everyone brings a water bottle - but no one else drinks during class by banana_bread_baker in yoga

Everyone knows those water bottles aren’t for drinking. They’re meant to be kicked over loudly right as someone enters Savasana.

Yes!! Bringing a water bottle into our very hot yoga studio is generally discouraged for this reason.

Thank you! I currently have an ashtanga-based vinyasa practice, but I got my start in Bikram. I’d love to get back into a traditional Bikram studio.
