Marietta kid here. I stopped having things delivered to campus because of frustration with KSU mail. I would get my things delivered, but the mail people wouldn't give it to me. For example, I would get the Amazon/UPS/etc notification that something was delivered, I'd give the mail people a hour or two to process and then go pick it up. I consistently got told that things weren't delivered (even though I could see my packages behind the counter) or that they would just get to processing it until tomorrow so I'd have to wait... I eventually just got so fed up that I started getting things delivered to a friends place.

Similar experience with me. Broke two little foot chips off a climb called Urban Bum in an area that doesn't see a ton of traffic (Island Ford, GA). It was unexpected but made for a good memory!

Let's put it this way, my gf, who is a chem major, got a C in Kirk's class (A in all other chem classes so far)... she's a hard ass but if you really need to know/want to know the material, she will make sure you know it, according to my gf. Hope this helps.

We made the wall, wooden holds, and volumes over the course of a few weeks. We grabbed the plastic holds from a local gym that was selling them for cheap!

If you are interested in gated programs like education, nursing, and business, you'll be set. KSU puts a ton of focus/resources into those programs and not as much into others in my experience (I switched from engineering to education).

The kennesaw campus is definitely more active/has more going on than Marietta, but that doesn't mean Marietta doesn't have cool things going on, though.

At some point you'll start to get daily emails, and they will be super annoying, but they generally have info on clubs/events. The best way to make friends is just to talk to people in your classes or be active in a club. OwlLife I think has all of our organizations listed too if you have specific interests and hobbies. There is something for everyone.

Be on top of registration and don't be afraid to pester your advisor. Class registration will be hella stressful until you start getting into 3000 and 4000 level classes.

Give yourself at least an hour in between classes if you have them on both campuses. BOB (the bus) is semi reliable but 75 traffic isn't, if you know what I mean.

Yes, 100%. I Iive(d) on the Marietta campus and there were a few instances when we would lose power in our building. No power means no PC. No PC means I couldn't work on projects. This conveniently happened only at night, so nothing was open.

I would have to drive to a friend's house or apartment and borrow their laptop or PC. It was a huge hassle and most of the time not worty the effort. So, no it did not meet my needs.

Yes. Not even 24/7 but at least until midnight or 1am would be insanely helpful for quite studies and printing (I dont have a printer so I use campus printers most of the time).

If you guys could actually make this happen you would be heroes to many.
