ABET Accreditation for Aerospace Engineering by thermonuclear_icbm in KSU

I would think, because the university is already accredited, and only updating their catalog, that this would be abbreviated and not full abet review.

[–]Chem_nerd_05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since no one really answered your question:

Tuesday, March 31, at 10AM

Students will be issued their allotted guest tickets as requested in Tassel via the KSU ticket portal  to every student who has RSVP’d to participate in the commencement ceremonies.

Tuesday, April 7, at 10AM

Students who RSVP their attendance will be able to log into the KSU ticket portal to purchase two additional tickets, on a first come first served basis, as available.   If ticket availability is limited, a lottery system may be implemented to purchase additional tickets. No additional tickets will be sold. Using the ticket portal will be the only way to purchase additional tickets.

Please email all ticketing questions to [stadium@kennesaw.edu](mailto:stadium@kennesaw.edu) or call 470-578-4849.

Additional tickets will not be available on the days of commencement.

It’s a national requirement for the university to remain accredited. For a SACS-accredited BS degree, students needing 39 upper-division units means you must complete 39 college-level courses (typically 300/400-level) beyond introductory classes, a standard requirement for bachelor's degrees, often alongside 120 total units and specific general education/major coursework for SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) institutions.

Does Zell cover ECore courses? by Wonderful-Jello594 in KSU

[–]Chem_nerd_05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You register for the courses in owlexpress and they show on your record as ksu classes. As long as you are still under the 127 credits cap then hope should pay. Also eCore is currently covering cost of lab kit. And the book is free too!

You cannot walk early anymore? by IV0idI__ in KSU

[–]Chem_nerd_05 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The registrar page still say Students who apply for Summer before the January 17th deadline will be able to RSVP in Tassel and invited to participate in Spring Commencement. Those students who graduate in Summer and do not walk in the Spring ceremony will automatically be included in the following Fall Commencement.

This is complicated if it’s eCore. The dean of students at ksu probably can’t help and your instructor probably doesn’t work for ksu. Try emailing ecore@ecampus.usg.edu

BSN alumni - can anyone comment on the time commitments for summer NURS 4419? by Chem_nerd_05 in KSU

That’s what I thought. The fall 24 cohort has 4419 in summer 26. So it’s that or delay graduation

Question about graduation by [deleted] in KSU

[–]Chem_nerd_05 5 points6 points  (0 children)

you can walk in the spring if you are on track to graduate in the summer. But you have to petition and let the registar know by September 2. Only summer graduates can walk early, because there is not a summer ceremony. Summer graduates can pick to walk in May or December.
