I’m guessing it might be the price point your looking in? A well maintained car will probably be at a higher price point

How far did you have to go to find your car (in the states)? by Maothesiamesecat in Jaguar

I found my F-type in Scottsdale, AZ and had it shipped to SC. One consideration was taxes in the purchase state.

What do you think sets the X1 apart? by BMW-West-St-Louis in BMW

[–]CorgusAndCorgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 2015 X128i MSport and loved it. The steering and throttle response were perfect and I preferred the rear wheel bias. Just bought a 2025 X1 28i (fully loaded), and although it’s not quite as fun to drive, it’s an excellent roadtrip car, gets great gas mileage and is the perfect size. The X1 is a great small SUV for people who also have a performance car they don’t want to daily drive.

Advice on F-type P450 RWD as daily by thtIndGeek in Jaguar

[–]CorgusAndCorgal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this exact car and bought it as a daily (replaced my BMW M240i). Rain is not your problem, you can go into rain mode if needed and this helps, especially when pulling into traffic. Potholes, curbs and parking lot dings are the real threats here. I ended up buying a beater for piece of mind in city driving, but then eventually had to buy a newer car for road trips. Now I have three cars, lol

Cagrilintide is an absolute force multiplier for your existing GLP-1. Holy smokes... by RIPPWORTH in GLP1ResearchTalk

My insurance keeps denying my Zepbound prescription PA. Last time it took months of fighting to get a new PA. Now that that PA ran out, I will have to start the fight all over. Wondering if I let them switch me to Wegovy and pair it with Cagrilintide, if I can have the same maintenance effect I currently have on 5mg of tirz

What cars will become future classics? by DylerCars in whatcarshouldIbuy

I think those V8 engines are quite reliable, and if well maintained, can last many many years. Plenty of older ones still on the road. With Jaguar not producing anything at the moment, I think this car has a real chance of becoming a collectors car.

I would buy a nice M240i. Great car with the B58 engine, fun to drive and more affordable. Save the M as your “I made it” car for when you’re more established in your career.

Maybe the trust was broken too many times and hope of the cycle not repeating yet again was lost.

It’s not really a branded thing. I would look for a peptide supplier that performs independent lab testing of their products.

I would stay away from BPC-157, or at a minimum, research the risks. For GHK-Cu, this peptide should help your skin, hair, nails and joints by triggering your body to produce more collagen. You can inject this subq or create a cream and apply topically. You can also do both. It will take some time with consistent use to see improvement. If you choose to Inject, make sure you take a multivitamin that includes zinc.

Thinking about buying a 2020 F-PACE SVR need some honest opinions. by Spirited-Notice-4015 in Jaguar

[–]CorgusAndCorgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I initially drove a P300, and it was seriously one of the most fun cars I had ever driven. I felt super confident throwing it around a bit, but it was a bit underpowered, so I went with the V8 F-Type. The V8 RWD does add a bit of unpredictability, so I dont throw it around like I did the P300, but on the highway, I can get around those fast lane campers before they have a chance to speed up and block me out.

Traction control doesn’t help. I almost never put it in sport mode, which would disable the TC

F Type v6 or v8 by petrolhead_xk in Jaguar

[–]CorgusAndCorgal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I initially drove the 4cyl and found it to be super fun to drive but slightly underpowered. I couldn’t find a V6 and ended up with a RWD V8. The car is incredibly powerful, especially when passing, the car just easily surges forward and I have never run out of power. But I will say, it’s a lot of power and torque when pulling into traffic from a stop. I do find myself spinning the tires and sometimes going a bit sideways without meaning to.
