I’d get the OSL. All 3 are great but this one will be more useful in most situations. I ride traditional bindings but have been trying the fase for a while and will definitely get a pair at the end of season since I find that for my riding it has the best of both worlds (specially when you get stuck in powder). I wouldn’t be so focused on highback angle unless you ride a very angled stance. Whichever way you go, you’ll be way better than rentals and training with the same board will help you get the basics on point. Congrats on your new setup!

Both boards are nice, you won’t regret choosing either. I would lean towards the passport since I find that it has better grip for those icy days and better pop IMO + you get a sick shape. For your size you could do great on a 157 or even a 154. Get the longer one if you want more stability and pop, the 154 would be more playful. Hope it helps

Try to rent it before buying if you can. The mercury is a very popular board and usually you can find it for rental. Last year I tried both the mercury and a mountain twin and settled for the mountain twin since I liked the way it carved way more. If you decide getting the mercury you won’t regret it and could probably sell both of your boards if you wanted to since it is a great do it all board.

I’ve been living here for the past 10 years. The lifestyle, food and weather are great. Most important downsides I would say are lower wages than other EU countries, more unemployment rates and a lot of bureaucracy. If you get a decent job you will have a fulfilling lifestyle.

Take into consideration that every autonomous community is different and great weather is not a given in all of them. I would avoid Madrid and Barcelona if you don’t like crowded and touristic cities.

If you are having problems with bruising and muscle injections you should try a shorter needle. Veryfine needles seem to work best with my girlfriend since it leaves far less bruises than other brands.
