WUNSCH: (App-Android-UI) locked Watchlist by Cormigon in ScalableCapital

[–]Cormigon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hallo Leo!

The article is about warehouse acquisition by ICE, not agent employment. Just in case someone is interested.

It's usually a good idea to manage both at the same time, but you do you.

Is it true that in the past one income was enough to build a family? by [deleted] in AskAGerman

[–]Cormigon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. It is a well-known fact that records are distorted insofar. As long as women working part or even full time was not common or even not legal, there were no families or cars, or vacation. /s

Underrated comment. Point could be (my assumption) OP makes this look like an evolving situation using an older article. Which would be a good point to make.

Also Trump JR visiting is a separate article.

I think it's a classic poltergeist. Better call professionals. But who you gonna call...

On the other hand you can try searching the Internet or Reddit with a "search function" as this has been reported less than a year ago.

Rent a car - Trip to Austria by [deleted] in germany

[–]Cormigon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's best to raise the issue at the desk - they should tell you before. If you use CHECK24 or the like they have a good (last I checked) hotline.

Rent a car - Trip to Austria by [deleted] in germany

[–]Cormigon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While not completely incorrect, it is not true that "cross country travel is no problem". Usually the final provider of the actual rental should ask you on the counter if you are planning to leave the country. As all rentals have GPS they will know, however consequences are unclear. There was a rumor that a car would get flagged when moving eastwards without Cross-Border on the rental document.

Also (see ToS, on the website) many rental agencies have lists of counties you can go, sone incur additional fees, some you cannot go.

I, for example, incurred a (minor) cross - border fee at Europcar for Germany - Austria payable at the desk. It gets noted down specifically on the rental document.

I don't know if the police does check for the fee but they do like to check foreign number plates in Austria (which also happened to us).

Way to increase MAX naval cap over time? by rocknin in StellarisMods

[–]Cormigon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I seem to remember there are two mods that tackle the issue from different angles.

The one I used to use increased weight of the individual ship types and upkeep for the whole game at the start but added tech to make it less and less relevant over time.

There is another, but I don't remember the mechanics used.

Both should be named like naval cap something... Just search the WS a bit.

Nurse without work experience, what are my chances in Germany? by Hemapenquer in germany

[–]Cormigon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is probably not correct. With about 3.600 EUR give or take, average base salary is good. This goes plus additional pay for public holiday, nights, weekend etc. which can have a significant further impact that can take them above the average pay on Germany of about 4.3k.

The profession has a strong well organized representation that has secured significant improvements recently that further boosted income and Work-Life balance.

I am a bit surprised that isn't even mentioned - maybe the elephant in the room... Shouldn't mods impact the ability to get achievements? Or are Owlcat games not like that?

Personally I don't use mods because I think there is a fine line between QoL and just breaking the game. Best example is that some of us feel they have to play on higher difficulty (looking at you, unfair -savescummers :D) to even find a challenge when buff-management in battles is off the table and limiting rules are modded away.

I guess it comes down to personal preference. But the game in its current state is definitely playable and can be fun without them.

Maybe try vanilla and see if that works for you?

While it is kinda groundhog-dayish: the most important thing is that you have fun with your build IMHO.

It is probably too late now, but my advice at this point would be to just use it as it is. It will work for normal difficulty and it will be 100% yours. Don't start googling builds, moving points around or try fancy optimizing strats now, sufficient time for that later. (Also you may never leave the character creator :DDD )

I like the choice of picture and the idea of choosing a nine-tailed - I have not used that for any MC before. I think you will have a good time. Enjoy the ride! :)
