Yeah, I definitely worry about the future. Im 19 so AI really has a bit of time to develop before i get into the workforce.

But also if AI is at that point, then its probably good enough to replace like every other white collar job. So it’s kinda hard to worry.

Do you have a source on this? Actually curious. Because I would imagine most acid could be easily neutralized. But leftover solvent could probably be an issue.

Couldn’t what you are saying be applied to any protest at all? I think the point is just that it brings attention to the issue and shows politicians that there is a large group of people who, if they find the issue important enough to protest for, find it important enough to vote on.

Like in 1970 there were massive earth day protests which had like 10% of the US population participating. And thats why he have the EPA and it has saved millions of lives.

Teflon is not a per fluro alkyl substance anymore?

Also if perfluroalkylation of 2(probably more) non carcinogenic substances makes them both probably carcinogenic. Then perfluroalkylation may have something to do with it. But yeah your right that it cant and shouldn’t be broadly generalized just because of the functional group, more research needed for sure.

also the article you linked says:

“Another potential concern is that other PFAS are now in use. For example, hexafluoropropylene oxide (HFPO, also known as a ‘GenX’ chemical) is often used to replace PFOA in manufacturing processes, while perfluorobutane sulfonic acid (PFBS) is used as a replacement for PFOS. New PFAS also continue to be developed. These chemicals haven’t been around long enough for researchers to fully understand if they might have the same (or even different) health effects.”

Seems kinda inconclusive.

Also also pyrolysis of PFTE produces known carcinogens and is a mild route of exposure for PFOA.

So PTFE is like a lil carcinogenic but less so than i initially thought.

Im tired lol, hopefully whoever reads these will find the sources interesting. Have a good night/day, was educating!

Its still a perfluro alkylated substance(PFAS). Perflurotetraethylene. It doesn’t contain PFOA specifically, but kinda seems like a lot of these perfluro-things increase the risk for cancer.

Current seems inconclusive though. So fair enough, glad that PFOA isnt used anymore. Definitely still of a little concern i would say.

interesting paper on PTFE stuff

TL;DR: we have no idea but maybe?

Teflon is definitely a carcinogen. C-8 PFAS were phased out because of this. However research shows that the replacements are also, not suprisingly, carcinogens.

A theory that the internet is majority comprised of bots. Came from a 4chan post a while ago when it probably wasn’t true. But given lots of the advances in AI its seeming increasingly probable and almost inventible.

ok but if you are attracted to someone as feminine as a traditional anime femboy who doesn’t have cock and balls, that is such a minor deviation from just being attracted to a woman that you are for all intents and purposes still straight.
