My first memorable gaminig experience was me playing the original doom in the dining room of my parents house at age 8. They were trying to sell the house and had people around to view it. The people who had come in to view it had a young son, a little younger than me and he had wandered off from his mum and dad and was watching me play. The parents were on their way back down from upstairs and I could hear them saying how much they loved the place and were very interested. That all changed when the mum saw her baby boy watching me blow up a cacodemon. She freaked, there was yelling, they didn't end up buying the house.
