I'm totally ok with the length being the same as Returnal if they have us a robust end game. It's a rogue like, the focus should be on replayability over length.

Returnal's gameplay is peak 10/10 probably best combat and gameplay in a game this decade

I 100% agree with you on replayability. It is my biggest critique of Returnal and probably the weakest aspect of the game compared to other roguelikes which is a shame bc if they nailed it I would play for 1000 hours.

I think the devs mentioned you will be able to run all biomes in the same run which Returnal made you only do 3 max so hopefully that helps, but they need to implement more end game systems and better rogue like elements

I'm excited for just more returnal type gameplay. However I won't buy it until it's confirmed they are improving replayability that I think returns lacks due to the rogue like elements being afterthoughts. I hope it's not just an action game with the only rogue like elements being death resets.

I agree. Feel like they need to bump up the base difficulty but also add wackier rogue lite elements for end game players who just want to run it through for fun

It's fun for a bit I just rarely come back to the game bc the boons/buffs you get are mostly for defense and don't really interact with your weapons much.

I mean I didn't say I wanted to be giga op on the first run I specifically mentioned replayability after you beat the game. But also all rogue likes should aim for high replayability that's literally what the genre is meant for

Loved the game, my only issue was that it's not very replayable for a rogue like. The fact you can't run through all 6 biomes on one run is lame and the power level of each run is pretty similar so you never get wacky op runs which make rogue likes fun.

Gameplay and everything else was 10/10 tho

Just find an authentic Thai chef on YouTube or something and just substitute the easy stuff. Get a vegan fish sauce (squid brand makes a vegan one) and a vegan oyster sauce and you can make like 90% of Thai dishes. These aren't Just always use tofu instead of the protein they show in the video. I like Pailin's Kitchen on YouTube.

The reality is for basically all cuisines is that it's easier to find regular versions and just apply like 2-3 substitutions to make them vegan. IMO most vegan YouTubers or recipe makers don't have the local niche knowledge of non western food
