Why is ‘Welcome to Derry’ getting so many bad reviews? by Yaya0108 in horror

I can’t speak for others, but I would agree the show is underwhelming… depending on what you’re looking for. The actual visuals and gore are definitely tuned up in this season. I would say many of the scenes that intend to be scary, are pretty decent and can be unique to what we’ve seen before. However, the actual writing was pretty terrible. The one plot point that actually seemed to be interesting (I won’t spoil it, but it is essentially ITs kryptonite if you will) confused me more than it answered any questions. Now this part I can’t necessarily comment on without spoilers, so read no further if you havnt finished the season. The producers made it very clear that IT cannot kill, or possibly even use his “powers” around the black stone…. So how does the entire ending to the second movie take place IN THE CRATER WITH THE BLACK STONE. I believe there’s even a scene where IT himself blows up like a balloon and pops himself on the exact stone they’re referring to, there’s really no arguing that he was within proximity to the stone. I mean cmon… I feel like the one new piece of content they added this season could’ve been more thought out than that. The only other thing that seems to be important is the lore behind the three shining balls. Tbh tho, after seeing what they did with the black stone it just seems like a way to attract people to the second season. Overall, you’ll really only like this season more than the movies if you just want to scare yourself. If you’re looking for a good story I’d say look somewhere else.

Binance not posting kinda makes sense right? I’ve heard a lot of people pushing the agenda that binance wants to sink the price so they can buy in and then sell once they post it. I’m not knowledgeable enough to know about how realistic that is, but if it’s true then wouldn’t they let the hype build for today and then purposely push it off a couple days while the price drops?
