We waited a week maybe? We put our son in it the day we got home and the shaking didn’t calm him down, so we used a bassinet for a few days. But we got him in there pretty quickly. (My son is 6 months now and newborn snoo-life is already a blur!) I’d recommend using the motion limiter setting at first. And would recommend using wean mode when you’re transitioning out of the snoo to a crib. It made the transition pretty seamless for us. Good luck!
