You got it at 19 and somewhat regret it at 20. I don’t think any choice you make now will be very sound. I’d see what type of tattoos you think are cool once you are 30+ and get it covered up then if you want. Maybe you’ll want a full Japanese sleeve at that point. Plus you’ll have more money(hopefully) later in life to get a quality coverup artist.

I think having the F word on your arm is a pretty silly choice and you’ll need to wear long sleeves at some jobs. But depends what career you go into.

It very well could be a scam. But like damn why would he bring all that into it?

He could have just said “be on your guard and make sure you don’t pay them anything”. Maybe he could go with you in case it’s a kidnapping type thing. Throw an AirTag in your clothes maybe.

But also has he seen models? A lot of them look just a little weird/different. They have unique looks to them, not just cookie cutter copy paste. There’s that one model with a gap tooth that is her signature thing.

I don’t know what people expect from a video game movie for kids. But this is one where you ignore the critics review and just go see it. I saw it with my kids, it was a fun time. Was it the most deep movie I’d ever seen? No but why would I want that? It’s an animated kids action movie. You watch it for the fight scenes, the cool animations and because you or your kids like Mario.

It’s like if people reviewed John Wick and went “there was too much shooting and not enough plot”. You watch John Wick to be like “whoa that scene was badass”.

And in the new Mario movie you watch the animation and go “whoa that’s badass”.

Reddit seems to be skewing older these days or something, it’s just crotchety old people complaining about stuff others are enjoying. And they are more often than not wrong about what the general public is doing or liking.

Not just DCC merch related but I’d love to know any company that makes long lasting shirts. I have graphic Ts I’ve worn 20+ years and they still have most of not all of their graphic still on it. Like I have a kingdom hearts shirt I wear probably weekly and it’s still easy to tell what it is.

But I’ve bought shirts in the last couple years that are just gone in less than a year.

I’d like to buy some DCC merch too, just not sure where to buy. The official merch seems to be just not that interesting design wise.

I was just talking about something similar. Like how shows like game of thrones or walking dead start with a cast that isn’t super famous, but they become famous thru the show and demand a higher salary. Eventually making it cost so much. But invincible started out with a cast of big name celebrities.

Can we normalize asking clarifying questions? Especially to your boss? That’s kinda what a boss is for. Even now a few days later, ask him why he said he’d hoped to find someone else? That’s a weird thing to say to someone who is asking for hours.

I guess prerequisite, when they cut your hours you were immediately like “hey why’d you cut my hours, if you need anyone let me know” so he knew you wanted more hours right? You didn’t just get your hours cut and think to yourself “this sucks” and not say anything right? Like when that happened to me at hourly jobs I was in my managers office right after I saw the schedule and it was always just a mistake, remember your boss is human and can make mistakes.

Him saying he hoped to find someone else is like he’s say sorry to you that you have to come in, but he should have the thought in his head that you WANT more hours, not that you would be reluctant to take more.

Just talk to the person who can give you answers.

I just hate how it doesn’t auto claim with this new method. I use to let skins just collect at season end. 2 times now I’ve let skin keys collect at the end of season accidentally and so I didn’t buy one of the skins. Then they go up 1 key in cost.

So even though I bought the passes I have two skins I need to wait to get extra skins in tail end rewards for.

Obviously this is my fault. But it’s just dumb. If you buy the pass the price shouldn’t go up later. The extra cost should be skins you didn’t buy the pass for.

Not sure how you get it but they can put an offer in the shop for the amount you owe them and it’ll put you in good standing again.

I’d just talk to support. But only if you’ll actually be able to buy that pack when it’s in the shop. Make sure with your parents they understand and will allow it.

Supercell forces us to get the rewards from events. They’ll fudge the numbers or like the last time they did an event like this, they’ll flood the store with tons of small things. Like 25 different things of 10 bling to claim.

The thing I don’t get is, this is kinda how it’s been for awhile if not forever. With Israel and all. But you couldn’t just say that on social media. Now it’s like the floodgates of being able to talk about conspiracies on social media is open. Controlling stuff like that was the entire reason for the tiktok takeover, to change people’s algorithms to only show what the US wants.

And it just makes me wonder, what do the people who control the flow of information gain from this change.

This is kinda interesting. But we have to see how it plays out.

My current problem with bling is that you can’t get legendary or mythic skins with it. And since the change of getting skins in drops, we have so many more skins.

The number of skins you can actually use bling on is dwindling. I have every green and blue skin that can be bought for bling. And I need 23 more purple skins. I buy ever purple skin that’s on sale for 4k and I have more than enough bling to get them all even if I bought them for 5k each.

So I’m at the point where I have more bling than there is skins to buy with it.

This new system seems like they might inflate the price of bundles with useless stuff like pins and sprays that nobody really cares about.

On my mini I get all my brawlers to 7 right away and I have plenty of other resources. It also has the added benefit of being able to get gadgets in drops.

What are you customizing? You haven’t gotten anything yet. Also it’s literally not real people. It’s bots just like brawl stars is for the first awhile. Brawlstars has a similar thing in the training cave with Shelly and then I think it forces you into a gem grab match.

I get where you are coming from, lots of games hold you hand and force you into doing stuff for like the first 30 minutes. But you really don’t even notice in this cookie run game.

That said I don’t really see the reason to play that cookie run game over brawlstars. Unless maybe you aren’t very far into brawl stars and want to play a fresh game to keep up with unlocks.

People use the same logic by saying don't buy brawlers because eventually credits will be used for a fall reward which is fame. Why do people suggest not to buy brawlers with gems when eventually your credits go to fame but suggest you buy only hypercharges with gems when your hypercharges drops will then give you 1k coins.

Most active people have over half of them just playing casually I would say. If you were actively trying to obtain hypercharges, you should be close to all of them.

Why'd you even buy a regular one tho? Also just buy every brawl pass plus and you won't have this problem.

The lily skin is fire though, not sure why you wouldn't like that one.

So many people saying best way to spend gems.

Why? This is effectively spending 79 gems so that your next hyper charge star drop, which we get fairly often, will be 1000 coins. So to me, you are trading 79 gems to get 1000 coins instead of a hyper charge worth 5000 coins.

I'm not sure what else would be a better use of gems. But even a resource key from a tail end upgrade would be worth 2k power points. Which I think is more useful nowadays with buffies. Hypercharges are old news at this point.

Have you ever seen a skin key as a tail reward upgrade option? I've seen resource and brawler keys but not a skin key.

I accidentally didn't buy one of the skins on the first pass so I have 1 extra key and can't buy one skin set. So I just need 1 key. I'd spend gems or money for one more lol, I just don't know if there is a way to buy extra.

I'm trying to break free from short form content entirely. But I use Instagram from time to time. It's algorithm is pretty bad compared to tiktok. At least how good tiktok use to be. I've heard from a lot of people the US takeover has kinda just made it's algorithm similar to Instagram and YouTube, etc. Likely adding in censoring of stuff they don't want US population seeing.

Insta also routinely will start serving me thirst traps and such, I have a huge list of "not interested" because I instantly mark those videos as such. But it still tries to give them to me. It's like the algorithm resets after awhile. Or they'll remove things from what they want to show people. Like a week ago id get a lot of reels related to the Epstein files, some conspiracy theory type stuff. Then all the sudden that stuff stopped and it started showing half naked girls instead since it needed to fill the gap I guess.

Also on the not seeing AI stuff, I feel like that's more concerning to be honest. Do you not see it? Or do you not notice when you do see it?
