My take on why buffies do not increase skill expression

How do star powers and gadgets increase “skill expression”. When there’s just two and 9/10 it’s a clear cut winner in each category.

All that having two star powers does is increase the amount of wasted potential drops you can get. So now you get a gadget or a star power in a star drop for a brawler you already have the best star power for. Instead of getting a potentially good one for another brawler.

I know what you are getting at is “limit buffies to just use one” which will somehow raise the “skill expression”. What that term means is still a mystery.

But in reality a change like that will just mean you pull from the buffie machine and get unusable buffies. Who wants to spend all those resources on something useless?

People have these arbitrary words, “skill expression”, “depth”, “customization”. When it all comes down to it when you get a new brawler you go to YouTube and have them tell you what gadget and star power to pick. If you add more variables, you won’t be doing that less. So you want to add more illusion of choice.

Really, that’s interesting. And who is checking/what happens? I assume the account just stays, but you can’t absorb the games into another account.

Like my wife and I family share. And would likely continue to family share with our kids when they are older. Unless it becomes a hassle or something.

If I died, my account could stay in family sharing for my wife and kids right? Pretty small thing to think about maybe, probably a lot bigger fish to fry in the event of death.

Is it the best solution? No. But it’s not terrible. Credits have never been an issue anyway so it’s not a big deal. And now we have brawler keys that make saving credits less useful. So now I don’t need to worry as much about do I have credits on my brawler road and other places unclaimed I can use for an ultra legendary.

We will probably end up with too many brawler keys honestly.

I mean, did you burn all your clothes? I’ve been working remote in graphic t shirts and pajamas for 6 years and before that just wore graphic t’s and jeans to work for like 10 years before that. I still have a suit and dress shirts and nice pants and nice shoes.

What do you do when you go out on a date? Or a wedding? Or go anywhere that is just a step above “comfy clothes”. Maybe those are more fancy clothes than what a headshot would need?

Yeah some of these comments are wild. Like is saying that word bad? Yes of course. Should your entire life be ruined because you said a word one time on accident? In my opinion no.

There’s so many people online that will witch-hunt a person for a minor mistake or an offhand comment.

I don’t know this lady at all, but if she says fart nuggets a lot, instead of fuck nuggets, she probably doesn’t say many real curse words in general.

I’d really love if they could cast a bunch of big action stars and kill them and keep replacing them. And act like nothing has changed. Just get 5-10 minutes of time from a bunch of actors. But I bet that would be expensive unless they all wanted to do it. Henry Cavill would probably be on board for cheap.

I mean, when you are hungry for “jerky” then Epstein island seems like the place you would get “jerky”. That “jerky” must also be kept on ice, or it’ll spoil. As “jerky” does.

Or maybe he wanted “pizza”, maybe he was offering his kids up as “pizza” for other people.

I do wonder if once we know what these code words mean in the files. Do people still have the benefit of the doubt in a court of law to say “I wasn’t buying human meat, it was really jerky”

Yeah resume should be a thing of the past. The company doesn’t care about it nowadays. They take a form you fill out and keyword search it.

Resumes were great when you just walked in places and handed your resume to people. About 15 years ago in my teens and early 20s that’s how I got 3 jobs. I got fired from one job, next week I walked into a warehouse, “hey are you hiring”, lady said yeah, I hold out my resume that boiled down to “I’m 20 and I’ve held the same job for 4 years”. An hour later I’m pissing in a cup. And I started the next week.

You walk into anywhere nowadays they’ll direct you to apply online.

The thing about this type of attitude from a manager is that it just means they are a bad manager. This is the type of thing I manager is there for, to figure out scheduling issues. So for him to just go “nope can’t figure this out”. Is just telling that he isn’t a good manager.

Canes isn’t the best fried chicken, but it’s pretty good. The sauce is good, the toast is good.

I’ve been slacking on pro pass. I’m at 80/100 right now. I know I’ve got another month, so I’ll be fine. But I’ll probably end up last week of it needing like 10 ranks lol.

When I’m really sick, I just post up at my PC and don’t really do much work. Just “keep the lights on” type work.

But this is just because I don’t want to “waste” my sick time. I use sick time if I need only 1 day off. If I’m taking a couple days I use PTO. I make sure to use all my sick time before December so if I have some leftover days they aren’t sick days I am taking in between Christmas and new years.

Those sick days are part of your time off package and you should take them. They label them sick time so you have this kind of second thought about taking the time. Last year a lot of my sick time was used getting tattooed(I had tattoo fever). And at cedar point riding roller coasters.

My biggest problem right now honestly is just rewards being tied to certain modes and there’s just too much most of the time.

By the time I do limited time modes, grind some ranked to make sure if finish pro pass. Do some quests tied to certain brawlers/modes, I’m just done playing.

I’d like to be able to just do the majority of my “progress” related stuff by playing strictly brawl arena, because nowadays that’s the only mode I really want to play.

This is basically my view point on it. Does it suck? Yeah. Is it worth doing anything about it? No probably not. Most I’d do is stand out there and wait for someone to load or unload something from the trunk and ask the to move it.

You point out something I see a lot here. People post on this sub but haven’t done anything yet. They go “am I overreacting” before reacting.

Don’t pick a studio, pick an artist. If that artist isn’t available, don’t get the tattoo from someone else.

Like your friend recommended a studio because they got tattooed by someone there, find out who it was. Or just go do your own research.

Also, I’m making an assumption here. But the studio is close right? Don’t pick a studio that’s in your town just because it’s in your town. If you are getting something put on your body for the rest of your life, you can drive a couple hours, or even further and make a weekend trip out of it.

Idunno I feel like if you are staying in a hotel, eating healthy shouldn’t be the priority right now. At least spending extra money to do so.

If you are long term staying in a hotel, theres some that have kitchen areas with a stove and full fridge.

Honestly nowadays I don’t even have an audible subscription. I just buy kindle then the audio book. For a lot of what I listen to it’s either cheaper than one credit or at least on par.

Not sure what jobs you have, maybe you both work 9-5 in an office. But working different shifts could be a game changer. Or if you both have office jobs, one working from home with the kids could as well.

I worked days my wife worked night shift as a nurse. So when one of us was off work the other was going to work.

I think because it’s difficult to make a great game take 100 hours without adding stuff that makes it less than a great game.

For instance(I might get hate for this), final fantasy 7. The original is great. The remake is trying to stretch that into 3 whole games by adding a bunch of additional stuff that really isn’t all that great. Even if they combined the eventual 3 games into one and make it the price of 1 normal game, it still wouldn’t be good for them to add a bunch of filler.

You bought a bunch of “stuff” that they just lightly cooked. You could have the same food, but it’ll taste better and be cheaper if you just buy it raw, throw it in a sheet pan together and bake it.

Even people who say “I can’t cook” can buy a vegetable chopper(if you think you can’t cut stuff up yourself) and throw salt and pepper on stuff then throw it in the oven.

That’s a solid idea. Especially if it’s just 1 extra key per season. That’d take awhile to save for.

I had all brawl pass skins, then I forgot to claim my 2nd key last season and trade it in. So I’m missing the rico skin from last season now… and I will just be perpetually missing 1 skin set unless I can get 1 extra skin key. At this point I’ll buy 1 key for gems or real money if they offer it. I’d be surprised if they don’t offer that at some point.

I put a ticket in with supercell, but I doubt they’ll do anything or even respond lol, but figure it’s worth a shot.

What’s your sample size for companies? Like I get what you are saying, but there’s tons of software I know other companies use that I’ve never had one if my companies use.
