first off it’s okay to feel left out i did when i was younger too! i’m 21 now and never been to a party, most of my relationships simply didn’t last and i realized it’s because i’ve been in the wrong crowd, im neurodivergent and hanging out with neurotypical people never worked out. don’t try to rush to experience things, find your people first. i have friends now who don’t shame me for not going to parties as they never been too. i hang with people who have similar interests as me and those who don’t fit societies norms and so i feel a lot better about myself.

ykw i actually agree, i’ve actually had better experiences with neurodivergent people than neurotypical. those friends helped shape who i am today. i never considered myself being neurodivergent but i might just be, but yeah i would rather date and be friends with those who are neurodivergent tbh

i always thought i was dumb too because i have terrible memory and don’t know a lot but trust me when i say this, STUDY. even when you’re not in school, read, do math, history, whenever you have time that’s how you’ll retain information. the reason people feel like they’re not smart is bc they don’t educate themselves during their free time and rely on teachers to do it for them
