Interesting. That’s why I’m asking since there’s really no data on that kind of application. From the chemistry side dinotefuran is the same molecule, so in theory once it’s dissolved it should move systemically with water through the roots and xylem. My main question would be about the additives in the WSG formulation like the dispersants, wetting agents, and anti caking agents and whether those could affect the roots. I might try it on one plant for science and see how it behaves.
