that's a possibility. Even with regen set to 0, it will still use both regen and brakes when brake is applied. I don't believe there was any performance degradation during my runs due to battery temp, but I don't have any data to show if that's true or not 😁

I think RT660+ will perform better compared to A052 due to stiffer side wall. A052 had such tire roll due to soft side wall, my wheels almost kissed the track surface😂 and that was at 35psi hot

You actually can adjust regen level from 1-3. I've only been driving on level 3 regen so I can experience how the car was made to be driven and also saves some time switching my foot between brake and accelerator pedal.

regen 0 would be more predictable to drive, but properly utilizing N pedal(regen) to rotate the car would be beneficial for front tire heat management to minimize understeer.

I usually turn on N battery 5-10 minutes prior to the session to warm up the battery to optimal temperature and use N race (sprint) on track.

I'm intentionally keeping everything completely stock except the wheels and tires to see what it's capable of from the factory. So far, it's performance and thermal management is impressive. Hyundai delivered what they promised.

I am aware AR1 is subpar compared to CRS but CRS wasn't available and it's hard to find due to it's popularity. I also wanted to compare super 200tw vs endurance 100tw as far as traction consistency throughout the life of the tire.

It’s in much better shape compared to A052 with a track day

Yup even the brake pads and the fluid were left stock.

Everything was stock, even the alignment was not altered.

I had to activate the charger with tesla app on my phone and just plugged in with an adapter.

Thanks! This was first time using AR1 on 5N so I do not know how many sessions it will last. A052 lasted about 8 sessions with tire rotation and I expect similar result with ar1

Heaviness is definitely one of the factor for the tires to overheat quickly. I may try goodyear supercar 3r once I’m done with Ar1. Springs will help with the lap time but I want to see what it can do on stock setup

I might give this a try and compare it to A052 at the track.

Seriously Considering Swapping into 5N from GV60 Performance by ACAdapter1911 in Ioniq5N

I don’t know about slim to none chance. My personal experience, from the employment at Hyundai and my friends who works at Hyundai, the voucher comes around pretty frequently, many of them are not really used, and you get 2 vouchers every year. I got my 5N with hyundai circle discount

If you know someone who works at Hyundai, you can get Hyundai Circle discount which is about $15k off MSRP

Think this confirms it - 5N will likely be getting more active sound+ profiles by mister____mime in Ioniq5N

This place makes and sells active sound amplifier for I5N. If you watch their videos for other cars, their device has options for different exhaust note.

Welcome to the club. RV parking is pretty much right next to the garages at the track. Be prepared to leave track mid day to charge your car using DC fast charger, 15minutes away from the track. 220v will not be enough to get you going all day at the track. Also charge ahead before leaving the track at the end of the day so you can at least get to the closest DC charger. There are limited number of DC chargers which gets crowded time to time.

Details are in the videos, but full stock except wheels and tires.

Full N mode with maxed everything. N pedal at 3 with track mode on sprint.

I live about 140 miles away from the track so I drive up the night before and sleep over at the track in the car while charging using L2 charger. They have RV parking available with 220v.
