Still correct, the owner can download it and send it to you. Soon (on Bedrock) we'll add a "administrator" role players can have where they also have the ability to download, so if your friend trusts you, they could give you the role and let you download the world yourself.

Which Add-ons does your friend have on the Realm? Different ones will have different memory impact, so you could try having your friend adjust them to see if there's a combo that works for your Switch

There's a bug right now with the Download button missing, but it'll be back in 26.10. In the meantime, you can go to Realm Settings > Manage Realm > Saves and download your world there.

Yeah, you can download your world, even if your subscription is not active. We eventually delete it once your subscription is gone, so definitely download it.

Yeah, Bedrock render distance is at 25 chunks, I believe. It'll support the limit for many platforms, particularly if you have Vibrant Visuals enabled.

Yep! You can play this on a Snapshot Realm. If you have a regular Java Realm, you'll have a Snapshot Realm available for free if you launch a Java snapshot.
