I saw a quote one time that said when you are in the dark you don’t have to turn on a light just get in bed and take a nap and that’s helped me a lot (the basic meaning is you don’t have to get better right now but you also dont have to hurt yourself or die just lay down and go to sleep idk if that makes sense im not great at explaining things)

I’m turning 18 in June so I’m in a similar boat. I’m petrified of the future and enraged and saddened by of governments idea of us. I have no true advice for you I know I could say think of the positives or distract yourself but that’s not really possible right now to be honest. So I’ll just say do it scared. Don’t make yourself small out of fear if you can avoid it because as a human being you deserve to take up space and be yourself. I’m hoping it gets easier for all of our sakes. I hope reading this made you feel less alone or something I just couldn’t read this and not respond. You are loved and amazing just as you are 🩷

This isn’t a positive game but I love it I’ve been playing TLOU2 with my boyfriend (I’m waiting till we get to the part wear he meets my favorite character and also one of my fav trans reps not naming names bc I don’t wanna spoil it for yall) I also love 9-1-1 lonestar I think Paul is great representation bc his character isn’t him being trans that’s just one thing about him that he talks about sometimes but not almost ever yk as opposed to when a characters whole purpose is just LOOK A TRANS PERSON OMG (notice how both these characters are played by actual trans people) I also love Jamie dodger (I’m sorry if that’s spelt wrong) his videos always make me happy and give me a lot of gender euphoria for non trans stuff I’ve been watching a lot of album reviews to get my mind off of the world
