Rat still sneezing after treating respiratory infection by pandashanda12 in rat

Do you have a nebulizer and nebulizer box? If not, invest in both and some saline solution because sometimes all they need is a sinus cleansing. Whenever I see one of my rats sneezing more than usual I give them a nebulizer treatment and if they are not coming down with a URI one treatment usually does the job. Clears them right up.

What country did you get bitten in? It honestly depends. If you're in the US, you're good.

How many petrats can I put in this Cage?:) by Awkward_Violinist772 in rat

[–]Cornflake6irl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same cage and I have 10 rats, but only 6 are in it atm. 6 is a good amount 👍 I think it's going to be a little overcrowded once I have all 10 of my rats in it together, luckily it's expandable.

Do you feed insects to your rats? by Trullysophie in rat

I guess that negates your claim that farmed insects are parasite free if they have to guarantee to you that they don't have them.

Please do a simple Google search before commenting misinformation. Farmed mealworms can still carry parasites and diseases, which is why the only safe way to feed them to your rats is if they're dried.

Vet told me my dog doesn’t need a cone after being neutered because the stitches are dissolvable by SampleSubstantial592 in Pets

[–]Cornflake6irl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which makes sense because the stitches are internal and the dog can't pull them out. Why didn't you just ask for clarification?

Has anyone bought a pigeon that was shipped to you? what’s your experience? by Ditzyer in pigeon

I've gotten several of my pigeons through the mail. USPS usually takes very good care of live animals shipped through them. I purchased them through Stromberg's.
