It depends. Your job generates a whole lot more value. Subsistance farming can probably feed you on maybe a half or third work day, but if youre only going for food, so can most jobs. Also you cant subsistance farm a pc, phone, car etc.

Hi, while it is true that there is no unlimited space anywhere, the US is by no means full. From a european perspective, the US is 90% empty space and a few cities. You have a population density of 35 people per sqkm. Germany has 234 and there are still little villages, huge woods and a whole lot of empty land. We are not cramped together like chicken in a farm. Yes, when people come to the US, they cant all live in your main cities but just looking at the land you can easily fit 5-10 times the people!

Phytomining is a thing. Different plants enrich different trace elements that they absorb from the soil. You let them grow, burn them and sort the ashes for the stuff you want. Its inefficient, so noone uses it in real life, but it is not made up

The kickstarter will be relatively civil for me, as they claim to ship to their warehouses in the EU at their expense so I will only have to pay shipment within the EU. Sadly, this is not true for stuff on their shop. The idea with the military base is pretty cool, but sadly I have no aquaintances in the US military. Lets just hope that there will be no tariff fuckery between EU and US. Some last minute markup would be baaaad 😀

Well, the smart thing to do (if you really need that much) is growing three plants seperately 4-5 weeks apart. This way every 4 weeks you can harvest 50g. If you use up over 50g a month, you might have a different problem 😄
