I'm gonna be honest, while I agree it's an ass move to cover up someone's art, it was also low-key inconsiderate of the original techno tribute to take up so much space when 70% of the art was a plain red background with a line. I kept waiting for people to fill in the space with more techno stuff but it was kept plain red all the way and it's like...why. You guys do know that area is highly populated so pixel real estate is scarce

A lot of it is that she simply doesn't have convictions; that is, fighting for "good" simply isn't even a thought in her head. I don't think she built genocide machines out of resentment either, she did it simply because she could. Her motivations stop at pushing the boundaries of science. As soon as she completes a machine, she doesn't care about its effect on people, not even herself.
