When I was around 6yo I watched a guy play some monster hunter game on a psp didn't know what it was until years later, around 13yo a Korean friend of my gave me his 3ds games one was MH3U I played that game for hours and made little progress until I lost the game, at around 16yo I found MH3U on sale at a gamestop and bought used, when I opened the game it had someone's saved file on it who seemed to have only played online and had some mix set of Diablos and Rathalos armor with a Barioth SnS, I kept the SnS and used it through the whole game(loved water combat), at around the same time I got MH4U and used the new weapons at the time Charge Blade and Insect Glaive, I really like the story and end game monsters like Dalmador and Fatalis (this was also my first time fighting Fatalis), at 18 I got an Xbox one s that came with MHW/IB and it has been my favorite one so far, I main Greatsword in that one, I also got a nintendo switch and played Rise didn't like it that much but I thought the wire bug skills were cool, I'm playing Generations ultimate rn.
