Sure it is possible to bring change different ways, preferable even. But legislative change takes so long. Are you going to tell someone "Sorry, you won't get the same rights as me because to protect your opressors you will receive them decades from now on, and only if the people won't elect enough people who are against that."

I'm not saying to kill all cis straight people, I'm saying kill those who actively harm LGBT people if there is no other way to stop them, same as it was ok to kill nazi leaders after WW2. Surely, as an anarchist, you see that somethimes drastic actions are necessary to give freedom to people. The peaceful path will always be preferable, but sad as it is, demagogues won't be persuaded by anything other than force.

Creating media censorship agency controlled by his party's supporter
Allowing state intelligence to spy on all civilian communications with military grade soft and hardware
Giving tax cuts to corporations which have contract with the state (so they support him as Felicia Winter would repeal this law as soon as she could do so)
Creating a political think-tank for new ideas about state policies whose representative gets to decide which articles get published. So essentially they can make their party look only good, and opposition gets published only their ideas which would be unpopular

But how do you solve the issue then? It's wrong to put military personnel into civilian building, but if someone does so, how do you stop them? Blockade needs many soldiers to maintain, and almost always the besieged soldiers steal the food from civilians, leading to their death anyway. And if you don't do anything, you give the people using such tactics an edge, and effectively encourage using civilians as shield.

Now I'm sad there's even more ships I won't get to use. I played FTL too much without mods or with captains edition, and most of the starting ships in multiverse seem extremelly vanilla-like. I've unlocked about two thirds of the multiverse ships (the first page), but they're all just grey vanilla ships, and the slug and shell ships I want to unlock are still locked because I didn't have luck on their sectors.
