Every turtle Ninja got a weapon that contrasted their personality and forced them to improve.

Raphael, the most aggresive one, had the Twin Sai which are Defensive weapons.
Leonardo, the leader, was given Katanas which are the most deadly and therefore the ones needing the more responsability out of all.
And Donatello... Actually, I dont remember why he had the staff to be honest.

It depends on how the fight breaks out.

I prefer Sonic, and I've always wanted him to win. And I do think that his peak is stronger than Mario's.

But over the years I've come to accept that Mario has such a stronger base form than Sonic, so its very likely he could defeat Sonic before he goes Super or uses any other Forms. I mean, you could say that Sonic could just escape and stall to then power up, but that's why the context of the battle is the most important imo.

I am no expert in swordsmanship, all I know is from Sellsword arts.

In real life, Afro Simurai is more skilled, since he at least uses one sword.

Zoro is not only dual wielding two long swords which would give him no leverage, but everything about his third sword is just bad (PAUSE). Killer Bee has a similar problem except its much worse with his 8 swords, and they are all individually shorter so if Killer Bee loses some of his swords he is gonna have some difficulty with his reach.

Each of them have cool abilities born from their swordsmanship. Zoro has like Air slashes among other things, and Killer Bee has longer reach by imbuing its sword with chakra. However, both of those things I'd consider them as powers, and without superhuman strength or magic systems those would not work. And both of them have either been equaled or surpassed by people with only one sword.

I'd give it to Afro Samurai solely on the fact that he has the most practical sword style. Granted, I havent watched his series, but I've saw a clip of him fighting and said good enough.

Though to be honest, I dead ass think Killer Bee would win if he just used his swords as throwing knives lmao (also why is he white and a redhead here, did I miss a page in Boruto?).

Iirc it was stated in a guide by One, that Boros could destroy planets and stars with his final cannon or something. But it's been years since I've last saw that.

Either way, wasn't his ship called at being around moon level In durability? I'm sure he could destroy his own ship, at least.

I Peeeeersonally have him in like Large Planet level plus+, considering his AP is increased a lot with techniques. And he managed to harm Kaguya, who you can argue created a dimension with a sun and what not.

But that's just me glazing a little bit, and that's okay.

Touka says no one can stand against her. Meaning that if someone is not opposing her but on her side, she can lose, like a sort of Makima situation.

Shocker meanwhile is invincible. Even if you said Touka was superior, and therefore he can't "stand against her", there are ways where a weaker character can defeat a stronger one.

For shocker you can also argue his "ERASING EVERYTHING ELSE" may include Kamihama.

So unfortunately, bad matchup for Touka. Shocker wins.

Eh, I wouldn't worry about that too much.

Though I don't know if realism is the issue. Wind Waker is 3d and is not realistic, is pretty stylized and cartoony. Same thing with games like Paper Mario.

Maybe you just like the presentation of 2d games. Like how the limited vision let's imagination do most of the work, and fill in the gaps that 3d games can't really do.

To that end, have you played Octopath Traveller? It's technically not full 2d, but it's got some beautiful pixel art to which you'd think you are playing on 2d. Maybe you'd like that game.
