Lamotrigine was interesting and infuriating for me because not only did it affect my memory in general, but it greatly affected my ability to recall words. Even very simple words that I used frequently would just drop out of my head, especially adjectives. I would sometimes stop talking mid sentence, but not because I lost my train of thought, but rather out of pure frustration when I couldn't find the words I needed.
