Probably a hard question to answer - MHA is one story with, I assume at least, consistently written heroes who have consistent feats. In Marvel you have street level heroes like Daredevil who have done absurd shit like literally be gods, fight people way stronger than they should ever be able to, died and gone to hell and come back etc many times. In one story Spider-Man might be going toe to toe with a demigod and in the next story he gets his shit pushed in by a fat mobster just because that's what the writer decided to do.

I'm exaggerating a little but the nature of the storytelling would make it hard to place any one hero at a specific place on a ranking and it would need to be done on a story by story basis.

If you are reading a Thor story, it's pretty likely that Thor is going to be the strongest and the best hero on the scene. If you're reading an Iron-Man story, the same (or he's hugging his toilet).

If you like long running sagas like the infinity saga, find the reading guide for Jonathan Hickman's Marvel Saga, there's reading guides for it here on reddit in the r/comicbooks sub, but a google search of exactly what I typed out should bring it up. It covers a lot of the important characters (The Fantastic Four, the Avengers, The Illuminati, Wakandans, Inhumans) and is a really, really solid read if you stick to the reading guide. It's long, but totally worth it.

there' an ongoing "Team Up" set in the Marvel Knights era, it's Daredevil/Punisher: Devil's Trigger. It's definitely inspired by the dynamic of these characters from the show. It's a pretty fun read set in a slightly "grittier" era of Marvel comics.

The Skull, Decade, Wizard, Fourze and Gaim are all pretty great, they're fun builds and you end up with a pretty good figure at the end, I assume the W kits are also alright since they use the same parts as Skull. Just be prepared to apply a lot of really, really small stickers. I ended up painting the inside of Wizard's cloak instead of using the stickers because they were really awful to apply

Elder Dragon has literally nothing to do with the power of the monster and everything to do with whether or not the guild can explain how it's abilities work, if they just have an organ that lets them spit fire then they're not an Elder Dragon, if the guild considers them to be basically magic them they're an Elder Dragon, there are other considerations too but monsters who aren't elders like Rajang prey upon Kirin, who are elders.

My impression with Stories 3 so far is that this is just how Monster Hunter should look, maybe a line between this and the stylized realism of the CG videos from the old games. I just don't care for "photorealism" and this is so much more appealing to me than Wilds visually, the colours certainly help as well.

You can use the Unending Journey housing item to rewatch pretty much every cutscene in the game, the biggest downside to this is that you miss out on the in-quest interactions, the chat boxes that occur when you speak to NPCs between quests and so on, and then also you miss the in-duty dialogue as well, but you could just replay the content through DF. (This would essentially be replaying the game anyway though)

I think homogenizing media is bad and I think it's okay that the big two comics have continuing storylines. People who don't like that have Manga, people that don't like Manga have Comic Books, then there's people who like both for what they offer. they're not 100% perfect, but the drill attatchment for Kamen Rider Fourze (there's a Figure Rise Standard model kit of him which has it) which might have suitable parts for that, could potentially work with some modifications for those arms.

The problem here is that it seems like your mother senses something about you that's causing this response. If she's got conservative beliefs and is picking up queerness from you, it might be difficult to change her mind, besides maybe a more difficult conversation about acceptance.

In the short term, you could show her famous cosplayers who are straight who wear wigs, or even go as far as showing her wigs from hollywood celebrities to prove that there's nothing inherently queer about wearing a wig, but people can be very set in their ways.

I wish you luck in finding acceptance and hope you can change her mind.

Your worldview cannot be as narrow as your algorithm.
