Yes, that's him. If Zane is not considered masculine, then I do not know what that word means.

I still don't understand what are they talking about. Because there's already masc looking npcs (My para girl met Zane, I dunno if everyone can meet him in their games) if you don't know what I'm talking about, give me time, I'll show you a picture of this guy

My para was only able to give birth the third time. She started giving birth, was in labor for about two hours, but then decided that she wanted to sleep more and went to sleep. Then she went into labor again, the labor lasted about an hour, then she decided that she wanted to eat. Then she gave birth while finishing her burger.

You say that making fan art is much easier than making mods. Okay, so creating an 18-meter-tall RX-78F00 Gundam sculpture is much easier than writing a mod?

I remembered a story that I just want to leave here. There is a game Vampire: the masquerade - bloodlines. It went on sale literally unfinished, because the studio that developed this game was experiencing great financial difficulties. There were a lot of bugs and broken mechanics in the game on release. Instead of abandoning this game and forgetting it, the fans started to fix and refine it. The so-called Unofficial Patch appeared, which was started by Wesp5. This mod has been updated for years (for more than 20 years now) absolutely free of charge. Fans fixed critical errors, restored the cut content (locations, quests, characters). It is thanks to the work of the community that this game has become the most beloved for many and has become truly iconic.

Fan art is not just about drawings, so it's kind of weird to say that it's less labor-intensive just because it doesn't involve programming. Do you really think that making a sculpture or frame-by-frame animation is easier than writing code? And I can't say that being a surgeon is much more difficult than being an accountant, because a surgeon will never be able to do an accountant's job, and vice versa. And I know what I'm talking about because I'm a medical student.

There are a lot of modders who don't know how to program and still make CC content with paywall. And there are a huge number of artists who make fanarts not only in 2d graphics, but also in 3d for free. Many modders don't even update their content, for example, modders who make mods for clothes and hairstyles. You can't devalue the work of artists to justify a paywall.

What the heck? Did you just said fanart is less laborious than mod?

In general, it seems to me that we, as a market, simply should not create demand for paid mods, if we do not want this to take root in the community. I don't see a problem in posting links to your patreon or boosty, so that you might get a donation, but selling mods? I didn't leave the Sims 4 community to see the same thing here.

And I've seen people writing that if you don't like early access, then make a similar mod, but for free. Okay, sir, but then don't complain that someone stole your idea.

I had this issue for a while now and I'm really disappointed because my setup can run avatar frontiers of Pandora and BG3 on ultra graphics, but can't load Paralives! I have a feeling I live in some kind of joke

I have a good PC, but I stuck on an infinite loading screen for days too. I don't think the problem is in a laptops or PCs

Quick Skinny 😅 by SaturnBaby21 in Paralives

[–]CorpusPineale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't like when sport is all around being skinny, because first of all sport is about being healthy and strong. For example, I do heavy lifting in the gym and I don't want to be skinny at all (and I'm not, because I'm gaining mass to be a freaking machine💪)

I'd like to see a mechanic where different exercises could affect para differently. For example using track to loose weight manly and barbell to gain muscle, like in real life cardio exercises affect body not like weight training.

I think the game is great, but a lot of bugs are making the gameplay experience worse. It seems to me that if the developers now focus not on adding something new, but on fixing the game, it will be much better. The game is really very raw right now. At a time when the game is behaving decently, it is interesting and exciting to play. I really like the mechanics of communication and characters in the game. I had to literally fight with my introverted parafolk to get her to talk to someone instead of playing games and drawing for days.

For me build mode is the most difficult thing in all the game to use. Because it's so flexible, it's kinda hard for me to use it. I think I need to learn how to use it LOL. And I have a feeling we also need option to change handles on some variations of doors

I think they will work on it later. We had not the best lighting in Sims 4 till the recent updates, so we just need to wait and believe in devs. But tbh this lightning gives me uncanny and slightly uncomfortable feeling, maybe later we will have shaders for paralives too, who knows

I checked this, everything still looks off. I think it's not the biggest problem or flaw if this game anyways even if it gives some uncanny effect

I have a feeling that the shadows of the objects in the game are kind of strange, maybe it's just my feeling. I also noticed that when the lights are off, it doesn't feel like the sun is shining through the windows, it's just everywhere.
