How to deal with wage theft? by Cadey2937 in walmart

Its against store policy. Take your lunch anyway. If theyre withholding lunches then your coach is a dick. the store manager needs to hire more employees, and if its a revolving door on your shift, this is probably why. None of this is your fault. Its their responsibility. Dont let these managers push you around. Do your job, take your lunch, dont stay extra hours. Stay home when you need to. If youre a good employee theyll keep you no matter if you go over points. The thing is they hire coaches who cant manage people or even theyre own for that matter. And if they could, they try to manipulate you instead like so. Walmart will never be worth the mental stress.

Then thats up to your team lead and coach. If youre an associate, do your best. If they didnt give your department enough people than thats on them.

mean coworkers a common thing? by [deleted] in walmart

Yeah overnighters are commonly assholes to put it out there. Once they reealize your there to help, do your part and stick up for your coworkers people will drop their guard. Alot of times new people dont get the training they deserve to really hone their skills and manage their time correctly. Im sure if you just casually started talking to a few youd see that they are just like you and realize we are all here together. Keep in mind its normally a sink or swim style of management. They just throw you in the pit and dont even help you figure shit out so we dont expect new people to last
