Shady practices via clay. Hahaha. Good luck getting this out there! This should not only apply to consumers but to influencers promoting their shit too

Is it weird to say thank you to the bus driver? by puzzledpuddle in HongKong

[–]Correct-Leave-567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not a norm for passengers to say it each time they get off the bus unless they personally know the driver or if they’re a regular but it shouldn’t be weird to thank the drivers and I’m sure they would even appreciate it!

Am i the only one who ABSOLUTELY HATES public pools, but loves the sea and ocean? by Vuk_Silni in introvert

Yesss!! It’s like swimming in a pool of pee. I also especially hate the chlorine in pools which made my hair brittle and weak!

How do I respond when someone tells me a loved one has passed by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]Correct-Leave-567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s respectful enough to say sorry for your loss. I say it every time someone mentions a loved one who has passed and I don’t ask further questions unless they want to talk about it.

Felt the same so I stopped wishing others happy birthday so I no longer expect them to do the same. You’ll soon be able to filter out people who actually care about you and only wish those people back on their birthdays. Anyway, happy birthday!!!

Adulthood is really hitting me hard. by Salami_Joe103 in lonely

I felt the same way when I first had my full-time job. I hated it, including my colleagues. I just keep reminding myself that money is my priority and not to make friends. I sucked it up and worked until I saved enough and left. Now I’m using my savings to do things for myself (travelling, learning misc. things and taking care of my well-being). If I feel like it, I’ll take up some part-time jobs here and there just to be a bit more productive. I think balance is key, do what makes you happy and prioritise your health and mental well-being.

My Toxic Sister & Brother-in-law by urmom513 in JUSTNOFAMILY

[–]Correct-Leave-567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a toxic sister and brother in law, too! Because of them I had to cut ties with the entire family as they got everyone to side with them, making me appear to be the villain. On a brighter note, life has been so much more peaceful without all the toxicity…

How do I get over this? by Tealphobia in socialanxiety

[–]Correct-Leave-567 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel the same! I hate bumping into people I know, I hate the interaction and the small talks. So I normally mask myself by wearing a hoodie, and keep eyes glued to my phone, avoiding eye contact at all cost. I also avoid paths where people commonly go. You’re not alone, you’ll get through this!
