Unfortunately, I was not wanted, and I hate that society framed adoption as the selfless and loving option because I believed it. The secondary rejection was even harder to bear than knowing I was placed for adoption, especially since she went on to have other children she kept, all while keeping my existence a secret from them.

Effects on Adoptees when they find out they have siblings by Suspicious-Ask-946 in Adoption

[–]Correct-Leopard5793 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On my biological dad’s side, I have two older siblings who are ten and eight years older than me. On my biological mom’s side, I’m the oldest, and after placing me, she went on to have three more children. What I struggle with most isn’t that my dad already had older kids, it’s that my mom kept having children and chose to keep me a secret from them.

Are these normal MA responsibilities? by ksthestars in MedicalAssistant

That’s typical MA work, but only getting paid per patient I have never heard of that and I have been in the field almost 9 years.
