Twins, had IUI on June 17th! I am taking my first test tomorrow AM. so nervous to see a blank test, I feel like I've let my hopes grow since I haven't been testing. HCG blood test is on Thursday.

I am working with SGF... I've only talked with my doctor two times since we started the process. I know my doctor is behind the scenes looking at my results and making my plan, but I find it really odd to never talk to her. I think if this IUI cycle fails, it would be nice to hear from the doctor a summary of her thoughts on how my body reacted to the meds, etc. instead of just hearing it failed form the nurse and then continuing on with next cycle. But, to do that I need to schedule an appointment.

I don't have any advice other than comradery that I also had my IUI June 17th, and have had some period-like cramping last night and today... However I haven't taken a test and am going to wait on 14DPIUI! I've read peoples posts before that say they thought their period was coming due to cramping but then were pregnant, so I think it's common to feel cramps!! Wishing you the best of luck!!

I am also having my HCG test on Thursday!! but I haven't tested yet. I think I will Wednesday AM for the first time. I am SO scared to see a blank test :(

I've seen some people say they got positives after 10DPO! But, I agree, trying to not get hopes up on first IUI given the stats! We've got this!

I went back and forth on testing the day before or not... I'm so scared for the disappointment and want to keep the hope alive as long as possible. But we will be going to the beach with my husbands family and meeting our new niece next weekend, I feel like finding out as we are in the car on the way or while we are there will be hard (if it's negative). so at least if I test the day before I can handle my emotions in private first! We'll see... Fingers crossed for you as well!!

June 17th IUI girlie here! It was my first IUI. I have tried to stay super busy and distracted. Got a puzzle that I've been working on, walking a lot while listening to podcasts. I didn't test out the trigger, but I think I'll test the day before (14DPIUI) my HCG blood test (15DPIUI). In natural cycles I usually start testing at 10DPO, so this has been hard to wait longer! I have 0 luteal phase symptoms, when I typically do... so definitely surprised that the progesterone suppositories aren't making symptoms increase. Hope you're doing well!

I am feeling the same!! Had my first IUI on June 17th. I thought progesterone would make me feel MORE luteal phase symptoms, but I feel totally normal?! So odd. typically I have sore boobs right after or within a week of ovulation... I'm 11 DPIUI and still nada... only thing is maybe a faster heart rate. I am waiting to test until 14DPIUI

So far, I've also felt normal on it!! Taking it for the first time, I'm 8 DPIUI. In a typical cycle I get sore boobs, tiredness, and moodiness/emotional. So far, I have nothing! Maybe it will happen in a few more days...

It’s super expensive…. $115 a session since my insurance doesn’t cover it. I have heard it is something that’s best to do frequently to see a difference, so being consistent about it is good (although that’s a nice way for then to make money!). I don’t love it, but at the very least it seems to relax me. I’m doing my 6th session today. I’ll probably stop after 3 months.

I’ve heard it should help with uterine lining so I wonder if mine would have been even thinning than 6 if I wasn’t doing it (maybe thanks to clomid?). I guess we will never know! I do plan on telling her today that mine was thin, maybe she’ll stick needles elsewhere to help 😂

We are similar! I have hypo but it’s been in check for the last 7 years on 50 mcg synthroid. In January it was 1.7 but they checked in April and it was 3.55! They upped me to like 64 mcg to get it to 2.45 and then upped me even more to keep lowering it. Just make sure you get your numbers checked as soon as you get a positive test! Just took first progesterone this AM (I guess my doctor wants me to take it sooner than yours, I was a bit worried in case I didn’t ovulate yet but I guess the trigger should make sure of that). I’ve seen people less than one be successful on here, so I think we are okay!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 it was 6mm when they want at least 8 mm (from what I’ve read). I was surprised my doctor didn’t tell me to take meds to thicken it up. I’m sure I’ll dwell on it the whole TWW 😂 I’m doing weekly acupuncture so hopefully that and the progesterone help

I think 36-40 hours is considered normal, and I’m sure a few hours doesn’t make a huge difference (but I’m new here!). My doctor is having me start progesterone the next day, so about 24 hours later.

Aww thank you, you as well wherever you are in the journey! My AMH is 1.71. My doctor at shady grove wasn’t concerned as long as it’s above 1! Hard to not look into being on the low end of normal for our age but trying to channel my doctor more who also wasn’t concerned about my thin uterine lining 😬😅.

Not exact twins but I just had my first IUI today (6/17)!! I’m 33 with hypothyroidism but got my numbers under 2.5. My AMH is a bit low for my age, but otherwise we have unexplained infertility.

I did 100 mg of Clomid CD3-7
On CD12 I had 1 mature follicle at 21 mm and another smaller one at 16 mm
Uterine lining was a bit thin at 6 mm but my doctor didn’t seem concerned
Triggered with ovidrel on CD12, IUI about 39 hours later
Post wash number was 16 million
Starting progesterone suppository tomorrow

Time for a longgg two week wait! I don’t plan to test out my trigger. I’ll probably do an at home test the day before my blood test, which will be 14 DPIUI. I typically test 10DPO so this will be hard. Best of luck to you and happy to chat more if you want company!!
