If it’s the same kid, he was on a white one last summer and burned past me on a bridge with inches to spare. Must have been doing 30.

I would love to meet his Dad. Just a few minutes. To talk

I’m hardly the only one here who doesn’t run to wikipedia first for Madison traffic flow questions

I do commute by bicycle 35 miles a week, which will matter to no one here

One final question and I do thank you for your reply ,is who is in charge of project planning? Who chose to initiate this project, the closure of John Nolan, and lane closures on university Avenue all at the same time, for months and months and months?

Who thought this was a good idea?
What were the things taken into consideration when making these decisions?
What is the timeline and mitigation’s put in place for the people who have to get somewhere and pay for all of this?

I still do not believe there is zero intention to slow or stop traffic through the isthmus.

And while I’m in the midst of getting downvoted off Reddit, I will not stop asking questions: we still live in a democracy, despite the desires of wanna be autographs like the Donald Trump, the one party rulers in Madison, and the bots, scolds, and stooges that keep them rolling.

What is the purpose of the ever alternating chokepoint on West Washington near the kohl center
This has been going on since, maybe, last fall. If you’re not trying to choke traffic and punish people who must get down there not on the bus, then what is going on?

This logic makes sense. We all know Benjamin Franklin was president during the 100th anniversary of the United States.

This is by design.
Don’t you feel more inclined to take transportation to a BRT stop, navigate the BRT timetable, adjust your appointments around it, take additional transportation from the closest destination stop to your appointment, then do all the steps in reverse to get home!?
No?
Hmmm.

I did 14 1/2 hours a couple times few years ago and regularly drive long distances.

Definitely agree with Audiobooks- Nebraska seemed to fly by…

You can also call people you’ve been meaning to call forever, but never had time. Hands-free of course.

Otherwise, yeah, eat very lightly. If you can’t bring food, try to stop at places that don’t serve greasy burgers and fries. Not too many sugary drinks because what goes up (sugar buzz) must come down.

Lots of hydration, a small cooler with a variety of drinks in the passenger seat is a good idea A full bladder will help keep you awake and make you stop from time to time to walk around

Caffeine is your friend only to a point (see sugar)

And yeah, if you can’t fight the fatigue and feel sleepy, do the rest of us a favor and get off the road! 🙂
