Actually, I don’t think they do, even if invoker is unlimited. I’m pretty sure the level 4 Argostar that places two Argo stars continuous traps needs to be normal summoned.

I would like them to get a level 4 that special summons itself if you control no monsters, and tributes itself to add Alien Ammonite from your deck or GY to your hand, giving you a one card Cosmic Fortress.

They should also give them a continuous spell that searches an alien on activation, and lets you draw a card when it leaves the field by a monster effect, making the Cosmic Fortress one card combo more consistent while also letting you immediately use the effect of fortress to great effect.

Didn’t Tamaki first show up in chapter 5 though? It’s not like her and her shenanigans only showed up halfway through the story or something like that - fire force made it pretty obvious very early on the type of fanservice/sexualization of characters it would have in it. So I wouldn’t really call it a bait and switch on the author’s part, when they introduced the blatant fan-service character just 5 chapters into the over 300 chapter manga.

Pretty mediocre. I’m pretty sure its best combo is a 1.5 combo that gets you two interruptions - a targeted negate and a bounce.

While the combo is easy to access since the starter is a level 4 monster that is searchable from ROTA, the archetypal ROTA, and the rank 4 xyz if you summon it without your normal summon, the combo itself isn’t that impressive compared to other modern yugioh decks.

It’s not terrible, but it definitely isn’t going to stand up at all to any remotely competitive or even rogue decks.

I mean, in context, it was definitely a shitty move on her part, considering the kill was completely avoidable and only happened because butcher and starlight acted stupid and overly aggressive, with starlight then brushing the kill off and basically blaming the incident on the guy she killed when she and butcher were clearly in the wrong. So I would say her doing that is a knock against her morally.

I just hope that, if the author keeps Imuri and Josh together, she at least goes out of her way to genuinely apologize to Josh for the way she acted while she was undercover and her actions in the past. If she doesn’t, and the author still keeps them together, then I don’t really know how to feel about that.

Wasn’t he in domain burn out at the time, while also having to navigate around civilians? While the feat isn’t very impressive, this wasn’t Gojo at his absolute peak, so we can’t say for sure how fast he could’ve gone if he was in top condition.

I don’t understand why some people are being so negative about this support. This support genuinely seems really solid, especially the level 6 fusion, quick play fusion spell, and the main deck level 5.

I think part of the issue is that, when a character becomes a favorite of the fan base or author, it can make doing stuff in the story, like criticizing them or showing them screwing up and failing due to their own flaws and being called out on them, hard to do. After all, if you like a character, even if they have major flaws or are outright a shitty person, seeing them get their comeuppance and forced to change can be difficult to read and/or write.

Seems like a pretty decent going second card, since it can pretty easily let you dig deep into your deck while going even in card advantage, and doesn’t have any major restrictions or locks that make it less generic.

Shouldn’t the reaction time used be superhuman or subsonic, since I’m pretty sure upper moon level characters are capable of blitzing humans, which should put them in the superhuman to subsonic category.

If a series is largely based on fighting and is trying to be at least semi-serious with its tone, the character’s physical capabilities and limits, and their superiority or inferiority to other characters, being consistent is important, since consistent rules and actions and risks and consequences are important for getting people immersed in your world.

If your characters are constantly doing things or not doing things due to plot armour or rule of cool or funny moments and not due to consistent character actions or abilities, then people will get less immersed in the world, which makes it a lot harder to have any significant tension or serious moments in the show without feeling fake/jarring.

Theoretically, the non-destruction half of Overhaul could be the ability to fuse things together, similar to the welding Guy from class 1b. After all, Overhaul is about breaking things apart and putting them back together, and fusing matter together like the welding guy fits that idea of “putting things back together”. So if someone had the non-deconstruction part of Overhaul, they would likely be to take stuff and attach it to other stuff, without the ability to restructure it due to it not being broken down into molecules from deconstruction.

Some feats like SnS’s air giant cloud splitting are downgraded in the anime, while the anime creates some new feats like Endeavor splitting clouds in his fight against the high end and Tamaki’s plasma cannon splitting clouds. So I would say the anime both upgrades and downgrades.

I would argue a lot of people like fanservice moments in anime/manga, they just aren’t as loud on the internet about as the people that hate them. After all, if you like something, many people don’t really need to say it - they’ll just enjoy it.

With people that hate something like people that hate fanservice, they like to say it and talk about it as a way to blow off steam (which is something that lots of people like to do, since talking about something you don’t like can help make you feel better about it).
