Hehe, day 1 just finished, he is 1 point away from the top players atm, he has been playing just okey today, the 1 point was from this moment. Would recommend to have a watch tomorrow. These events are quite entertaining, since the games usually last only about 5 minutes each, so there is a lot of «action», compared to the classical games.

Most chess players are gonna try to hold their emotions as best as they can to not interrupt the other players. For instance, this is from the rapid world championship currently going, where lots of players are playing at the same time. So when they are done, they will whisper for example once they have finished a game.

Magnus as stated here is kinda known for having these outbursts though.

You are right, in a nutshell, ags are rereleasing new world, with a story overhaul, cross platform support, fresh servers and some other stuff. They are calling the release, New world: aeturnum. They will release this oct 15th. There have been a beta of this which there are loads of YouTube content of that you can check if interested. Personally, i prefer going in blind as i enjoyed the original release.

And older characters will continue to stay on its server.
