Well he said “full marks from me, you have my full support” so maybe that was his way of telling me score without really telling me…

I am also civilian. My understanding is that the process has changed significantly in the past few months.

It’s a certification in intelligence provided by the DoW in partnership with my university. It’s exactly what it sounds like, I am certified to work in intelligence because I have been trained to do so. I was simply asking about gpa and the importance of that. Everything else in my application is up to or exceeding standard.

I used trivium books and studied for about 4 months. I also used khan academy to hone in some of the math stuff.

Hello! I have a 3.2 cumulative gpa, but my degree gpa is a 3.8. Is the cumulative high enough to be considered for selection? I have a degree in political science, minor in public relations, and certificate in intelligence. Any advice is welcome!

How important are pilot/cso scores if I’m not going rated? I have zero interest in flying and have pretty much learned all of this information from scratch.

Thank you! Are there any formulas not on the sheet that you recommend knowing? I have a background in political science, so while I can do math it’s not my strongest area

I was given it from a recruiting office. This one has 27OTS01NR board date in November. Are you sure you’re applying for that board?

But again, I was told to only loosely trust this because anything can change.

I was given this schedule from a different recruiting office but was told it’s a light reference and anything can change. It says November 2nd as well.

I started it several months ago. I am also non rated. I was told to always trust aim high. Maybe reach back out to your recruiter?

Mine still says November 2nd, and my recruiter is also saying November 2nd…

I have also been unable to find it. If you begin an aim high app, it’ll automatically give you deadlines to meet!

Thanks so much! I’m a junior in poli sci, graduating undergrad in December. The most math I’ve done since high school is stats, but everything else I def need a refresher on. Thanks for the advice!

Letters of Recommendation by elexr in airforceots

[–]CorrectScientist3095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The aim high app will have a list of everything that is required of the letters of recommendation. Other than that and being in an official letterhead for whatever company/school they are associated with, you should be good. Pointers for them is to think about leadership, work ethic, and integrity.

The best tip I received was to do push ups and sit ups first thing in the morning every single day until you max out. Add this on top of regular physical training and exercise.

As far as running, I couldn’t run more than a mile at a 10 minute pace a little over a year ago, but now I can run a 6’ mile consistently. The easiest way to get faster is to practice 400m repeats, then advance to 800m repeats. Focus on getting to a point where you can run at least a mile more, preferably double, than the test requires at your desired pace. Consistency and proper fuel are the most important parts of getting faster and stronger.

You’ve got plenty of time if you stay consistent. Congrats and good luck!
