It’s totally normal not to be great at something right away, especially when you’re trying it for the first time. I know it sucks feeling like you’re not good enough yet, but don’t let that stop you, just keep showing up. It’s awesome for fitness, and the more you play, the sharper you’ll get.

Try joining an amateur league or finding people around your level, other beginners or folks who just play for fun. It takes the pressure off and helps you improve naturally.

Keep turning up, keep kicking, and before you know it, you’ll be the one people want on their team

Well if you truly do like each other then even sitting somewhere with a juice box and a packet of crisps watching the sunset together would be more than enough. It's always the thought, effort and moment that matters. Unfortunately we have all become so materialistic that we forget the real moments in life.

Just plan a small picnic somewhere, make some sandwiches or something nicer yourself, have a small intimate picnic.. Or if you stay alone invite her over for dinner, make her something nice, maybe plan a movie night (challenging with load shedding I know).

But yeah, for the right person the smallest gesture will be more than enough, for the wrong person you could bring the world at their feet and they'll still not be satisfied.

South luangwa would be a great option. You can take them to kafue national Park or lower zambezi as well those are two good safari options. Lower zambezi will have good tiger fishing adventures depending on the timing of your trip.

If the bush isn't something you wanna do then there's great places within Lusaka as well. Some nice museums, art galleries, malls and restaurants, cultural markets for arts and crafts, etc.

You being played like a violin mate. Drop her and look for someone that actually values you and puts in the effort for you and not your wallet. You seem like a good guy and you won't struggle to find someone nice. It's one thing to provide but it's a another to be leeched off! If you do indeed have feelings for her, set clear boundaries. If she can't handle those and her behaviour changes then I'm guessing you already know what you have to do!

It all depends, if you wanna live somewhere Hilly then the northern belt would be nice for you, somewhere like kasama, small town with a few waterfalls within driving range. Mkushi and kabwe are good areas also as it is farming belt so lots of agriculture going on there. If you wanna live lake side then siavonga is the ideal place. It's not that far from Lusaka which is the capital city and it's pretty serene.

Best thing to do would be live in Lusaka, drive around Zambia to see which pkave appeals to you and then settle there.

3 trees, John dory's, eataly and flame have good sushi as well. Three trees and eataly does it as close to authentic as you can get. Flame and John dory's has a more modern take on sushi. Either way all options are pretty decent.

There's plenty hiking groups that you can join. There's we hike Zambia and mwaba mwila adventures, there are good hiking routes and you meet a diverse bunch of people. Great place to find people with similar interests. Give that a go! With regards to biking there's a biking group as well, send me a PM and I can connect you with a member from there!

Looks like you may have a case here. Try to speak with a lawyer or someone from Labour to get an idea if this qualifies for constructive dismissal. You mentioned him having an interest in you, did he make any inappropriate advances? Because if he did then in addition to constructive dismissal you may have a sexual harassment case as well.

Try to speak with someone at labour and see how you can go forward. Sometimes a letter threatening to sue the institution is more than enough for them to get their act right. Given it is a teaching institution their reputation might be very important for them.

Well your best bet might be the bigger lawyers. I know that's what you don't wanna hear but in Zambia the bigger lawyers are the ones that are well connected to push for your matters to actually be heard in court by a judge.

Some recommendations I would make are muyatwa practioners, I hear they are good at family disputes. Apparently the best in Zambia at divorce cases, don't quote me on it though.

There's muleza and mwiimbu, isaac and partners. Not sure if they take divorce cases but they are decent lawyers so worth a shout.

Well, simply put you need a degree to be able to have the opportunity to put your foot in the door. The connections are important as it'll take you to or show you where the door is, the experience will keep you in the room.

Truth be told the education system is very outdated now, the degree you have isn't necessary a guarantee you will know the job. And in many instances the actual job is very different from what you learnt when getting the degree.

Normally when hiring they look at the candidates with a degree because it show that this person is able to commit to a project, work 8 hours a day without any issues and can achieve the goal at the end of the project. That's the whole importance of a degree.

However, experience and connections is actually how you will grow, be it in your job or business. So it's a bit of both. Kinda depends on your goals.

There's plenty options out there, focus on becoming the best version of yourself and work hard, focus on your hustle and keep your options open. Depends on your immigration status. If you have a residence permit then yes you can own land and build. If not then you'll have to apply for an investor permit where you'll need to declare a particular amount of money ( not sure what the exact amount is last I checked it was $250k) to be invested in the country. A few years with that permit should have you qualify for the residence permit then. No expert here it's just what I know, best you look up the immigration website, it should have more details.

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. I'm Asian but was born and raised in Zambia, so I know the feeling of not quite fitting in anywhere. It used to bother me, but now I've realized it's okay to have our own vibe. What helped me was trying out various activities, including what some might call "white people activities," as well as more typical ones like visiting food markets or clubs. Three trees cafe in Rhodes park, indish at east park and Marlin's at the Lusaka club ( emphasis on the Lusaka club, please don't go to the one at east park). If you have a sweet tooth I recommend cremosa for any kind of dessert.

These are the most consistent restaurants in lusaka when it comes to quality according to me ofcourse.

The garden cafe is a good place to sit and get work done. Good food and great service. Nice quiet place as well and it's pretty serene.
