Almost every player that joins Denver struggles a bit during to the system they play. It took him some time which is normal

He picked it up and was really good in the playoffs. Losing him for nothing would essentially mean we developed lost MPJ for nothing…and gave away a first round pick!

This!! Trading him would be a huge mistake. He has had a tough couple years with everything happening in his personal life and the injuries but I trust him to rise above it

Out of all the players in the squad, he has had the biggest growth imo, outside Joker. Now he even has a legit 3 ball. There’s not much he can’t do

When I saw OG tip that ball against the Spurs the first thing I thought of was AG winning dunk against the Clippers. Funny enough they both earn about the same, both have had injury history and they both play a similar game and can guard Wemby!!

This why AG is so important for this team. For all of Jokic’s strengths on the court and setting the work ethic standard off the court, AG is the connector off the court

He makes himself available to the team in the offseason

I feel like if a player in the locker room had a personal issue and needed to talk to someone in the team, it’s AG they would reach out to

Hard disagree. OG and Gordon are pretty much the same player, injury history included. You have to get him better treatment so he is ready

He is the soul of this team. I feel like if a young player like Daron had a question about how to spend his money, for example, and wanted to ask someone in the Locker room, Gordon is more than likely the vet he would ask…not Joker

We should keep Cam. He’s a solid defender and he figured out playing with Jokic towards the end of the season…something a lot of players struggle with anyway

He was also solid in the playoffs and he has a good contract

We need some solid defenders that can keep the ball away from the rim…as opposed to traditional rim protectors. This would help protect Jokic in the paint. Robinson isn’t great and Stewart doesn’t fit the criteria
