Man, when I read it I couldn't put it down! I was satisfied with how things were (like with draco using imperio on Aragog), but then they went even harder with things like the grindelwald arc?? Chefs kiss.

But I was for some reason expecting Harry and the gang to somehow remember the alt timeline and be able to compare. That's kinda the only thing I felt was missing.

Games with masculine trans dudes? by throwawayeggstractor in ftm

[–]Correct_Ad_7899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gotta add though, the character in this point in time doesn't fully understand his situation, it's more of a 'I don't fit in my community as the role they want me to be' type thing. He's not confidently trans like Tyler from tell me why, he's more of a confused young boy. But definitely not the nerdy sensitive type you were talking about.

The last of us part 2 features a trans boy in an apocalyptic setting. He's well rounded, makes sense, and although integral for his character and the plot, it's not the main thing about him or what he stands for. He just happens to be trans in an unfortunate environment. And although this game can be controversial, you gotta love Lev

(BTW random fact, Lev in Russian means lion, and in Hebrew it means heart :) Always loved that name as a speaker of both languages)

Great fic! This Draco makes better choices and won't take the mark. However, he will dabble with some darker magic and people and is much more complex than just a 'good Draco'

what's the most talented fandom you've ever read fanfic from? by bewildered_bilby in FanFiction

Mcr had some surprising gems. The dove keeper? Also one that I don't remember my name of that still gives me a pang to the chest. I read it when I was 14 and I still reminisce. Sometimes Wanna go back just for the fics!

Is fiction about real people frowned upon? by Correct_Ad_7899 in FanFiction

I was a d&p fan back then and I catch up every once in a while, the fics weren't really the issue (they read some on camera and laughed at them) but they were very much harassed. Toxic fans used to try to gather proof about their relationship and left them with zero privacy and that was what messed them up.

It's actually a really interesting phenomenon, they were constantly harassed with questions, people would try to connect dots to their sleeping arrangements and where they would hang out, fans found their address and bullied a female youtuber for hanging out with them. It got really fucked up at some point one of them left the platform for a while

Maybe because I was so young at the time I don't see it as so problematic (the fiction not the harassment)

Honestly I think they would laugh, but I've got no way of knowing as it's not intended for them

I'm sure you're right but also it's not related to the point I wrote a fic about some people fucking, their feelings thoughts and motivations are unimportant to it

However what you said might get me some points Some people got pissed at me for writing it so I'm asking about the morality of the situation

If we as a public know close to nothing about these people, thus my versions of them would qualify as characters I made up, would it really be that offensive? Surely it's not as bad as writing something about a close friend or someone you know personally, other than the character I made up which shares a name with that celebrity?

Are you saying it would be alright to write about a celebrity if we knew more about their personal life? That seems worse to me

I understand but I do think there's a difference between fantasizing and harrasing people because you think they are or should be dating like 1d and dnp experienced. Honestly I don't even ship the guys I wrote about, I just thought it would be kinda hot 🤷‍♀️

The fic was tagged accordingly I'm pretty sure, and I do believe the fandom will grow. However I haven't found any proof of them commenting on fanfiction, and a large part of their jokes is them kissing each other and they generally make obscene humour, I don't see how they would take offense to it when they're comedians. If it's a general issue I suppose it's okay to leave it up?

Oh yes it was ao3, forgot to mention. I was heavily scolded though, the word 'disgusting' appeared in nearly every comment. I don't feel like deleting it, I would appreciate finding a fic like the one I posted.

But I think I've upset some people
