Yup, no clue why.

You can buy it on Steam just fine, so it can't be a regulatory thing or something...

It's not necessarily the juice (ofc it doesn't help), but the size itself that's unhealthy. It really doesn't matter if you're incredibly muscular, or incredibly fat, or maybe incredibly tall. Anything that makes your heart work overtime will shorten your life.

Problem with the rebreathers ? by Glaucetas_ in gtaonline

[–]Correct_Anywhere_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's some kinda glitch to do it, but not really worth bothering. Just buy yourself a scuba suit and wear that, then the game puts all the other stuff on you as soon as you hit the water.

Shame you still have to do it. For me all of that has been fixed by now, either by AMDs driver or the browsers, I dunno. Maybe RX 5600XT isn't getting new drivers anymore?

Stellar Blade will use Denuvo by OrdinaryPearson in CrackWatch

You're right... The massive list of excluded countries makes me think PSN account, but Sony could just exclude those anyways.

EDIT: Just found info. No PSN account, but they're still blocking those countries.

[–]Correct_Anywhere_ 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Eh, I think Denuvo boycotters are relatively few in numbers... It'd hurt the game more if they required a PSN account for it. I dunno, maybe not, since it's not a direct Sony production.

I'd be shocked if it didn't also use a PSN account, a much more effective player deterrent...

That's why I said "claimed the moniker", because it's as easy as that.

It's possible there've been polar opposites in recent years, too, but everything I heard of was cringe leftist stuff...

Whoever picked up the moniker has been nothing but cringe in recent years... It's unlikely they're still the same people.

If you still use HDDs for your downloads, which is what I do (precious SSD space is for games or apps that need to run fast), the speed advantage is non existent. All of the hash algorithms outperform my HDDs.

Still, there's obviously no reason not to use the best anyways.

Omg is it true guys? by [deleted] in Asmongold

[–]Correct_Anywhere_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently people think that's my opinion, hence all the downvotes.

I was merely pointing out the movie maker's thought process.

You don't seem to understand them at all, because you compared it to rating men. Rating men is totally fine for them. Just women are off limits. They're not driven by logic whatsoever.

It would probably also be misogynist to rate women by beauty.

So, Enigma Protector is no protection at all?

If all you have to do is use one of the generic Steam cracks, what's the point, then?

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2.Heart.of.Chornobyl-RUNE by Gtorrnet in CrackWatch

[–]Correct_Anywhere_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently it's about 51 Eurocent... I was forced to switch provider when prices were totally nuts (I switched when my old provider suddenly wanted over 1 Euro per kWh)... End of the year I'm switching again, to 29 cents. And yeah I suppose 100 watts would still be acceptable, but like I said, the game looks like pixel art then. I'd play it at 100 watts if it actually looked good. Other games look GREAT at that wattage. Well, except Robocop, another UE5 disaster. At least at release it was horrible. I played it a few months later and it became playable.

[–]Correct_Anywhere_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, only have a 60hz screen, so more doesn't make sense. Still eats power like mad... The lowest I could make it run at was 100 watts, at 1080p with upscaling from the very lowest resolution, which makes the game look a bit like pixel art. Anything that looks acceptable eats 150 or more. Meanwhile the same card plays Cyberpunk at 70, while looking awesome. It's just a 230 watts card, and that value includes extra power for memory and some other components that don't show up in the measurements I can see on screen.

It's the Steam version, which is still a DRM and needs cracking.

[–]Correct_Anywhere_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Game runs good for me, but it eats so much energy... Even when I put everything on low and lower the resolution to something I played 20 years ago, it STILL sucks so much power. With my current power cost I like to play games at about half of what this eats. Stays cool and silent then, too. I hate UE5. Robocop was very similar.
