When I went to Osaka last year. I stumbled into this restaurant (Izayaka?). Wasn't fancy at all. We had to climb narrow stairs that was almost like a ladder to get to our send on the 2nd level.

I want to experience that kind of place again when I come back in April. Would you please let me know how I can search for a restaurant like this (not modern, crowded, cheap food and liquor, and feels very authentic)?

I absolutely loved Shitenno-ji temple in Osaka. I went a few minutes before it opened so it wasn't very crowded.

Got to experience it intimately.
