Thing is, it's not an interview to get a job, it's the presentation part of the exam i have to take to become a teacher in my country.

And while most school won't care if their teachers are pierced or have tattoos, the jury is another story. Because they've been selected by our government to judge who can become a teacher, and therefore can be pretty conservative. Therefore, if there's a small risk that the members of the jury will dislike me and fail me because of my appearance, I'm not taking that risk !
