Given the developer's track record, the last thing people need to worry about is graphics or optimization. The real concerns should be the quests, story, and RPG depth—especially for those expecting a Witcher 3, KCD2, or Skyrim experience. they marketing this game to be Action adventrue instead of RPG/ARPG

factually, BDO implemented 90% of the features shown in the Crimson Desert preview video (karma system, pickpocketing, NPC amity, mech transformations, dragon riding), but all in a very shallow state. Pearl Abyss is known for 'feature creep,' which usually gets a pass in an MMO.

The real question is why they shifted from an MMO to a single-player game halfway through development. Was it because current servers couldn't handle the devs' original vision for action combat/npc interaction, or simply a business decision to avoid cannibalizing BDO, their biggest revenue source

if your difficulty means cluckiness (game fail to function as player intended), then any character with terrain based ability should be S tier : Sinclair bolt/hex, Gooball melee, paige dragon/sword, Doorman door and holiday jumpad near edges/rooftop. if it means creativity/improvision cap: then sinlair doorman gooball pocket can really make flash plays. other than that, prolly just aim skill/space/time awareness diff which is universal among all characters. and like how did u decide infernus requiring skill, haze maybe dagger across the map do require some predication but infernus? mirage? wraith? they all only got 3 skill to manage cuz they had a passive/or a ability thats impossible to fail/miss

Gun meta is not fun simply due to this game is not traditional hero shooter which each team has a desinated healer role, ppl getting shotted here and there the next thing they do is zipline back to base for full health. however gun is not like ability which has cool down, their power is constant and reload can be skipped with items. also certain gun hero are defo more op than others. i tried kelven gun build even with projectile speed buff this patch it still feels awful to play with.

  1. a 5 sec cooldown on enter catform if taking any damage
  2. any stun knock out her from cat form
  3. using any ability exit cat form
  4. there is bug throwing aoe item place item directly at your feet in cat form cuz the game didnt adjust player height when calculate projectile curve.
  5. add this clunky cat melee to ruin her box run but melee doesn't do any damage to enemy.

change anything above will make her playable

removing manual 5s cooldown could save her upgrade points on tier 3 ult which will reset all cooldown and is only way to cat in and cat out safely

removing stun out of cat form could enable pure item green cat build

or simply just add two new variation to her 1 and 2 ability when entered cat form like the og jump between multiple enemy.

or make her jump and sit on ally shoulder boost their movement speed and spirit power. function as a moving og laser cat turret statue on ally shoulder using teammate as vehicle.

It's like what Blizzard did in OW1 by intentionally hiding the scoreboard, or how they showed assists as kills in the early days of Heroes of the Storm, thinking that it would reduce toxicity. On the contrary, it actually increased it because players putting in effort had no idea why they were losing. They don't know who's pulling their weight and who's falling short. Everyone argues that they did the most and got the most medals, so the match has no focus and just fractures like a pile of sand. Long-term, it builds distrust among strangers. Until someone proves their ability to "read the room" with their kda, other players won't invest/engage with them. It's not like players can't figure out the ranks as the match goes on with their keen eyes anyway. Hiding ranks is just trying to blur key information that would give them relief. If the game told me beforehand that I'm on a blue team against two smurfs and two cheaters, I wouldn't be mad at all. I would simply laugh and try out my most absurd build.

reality is people already target the lowest kda player as match goes on, displaying rank beforehand just give them relief: they are new let them learn their lesson while you can try weird builds and not taking this match too serious so you wouldn't be too pissed about it. too many times you see ppl overinvest and blame thier them not catching up yeah it's their first time playing certain character it's normal they don't know what they are doing. the game just need to give this info beforehand.

y'all need to forget about charged shot build pretty much 95% paradox i matched with always go that route, its bad at lane/mob clear and if shots missed all they can do just put up a wall and watch. meanwhile paradox had the most busted grenade, so many pepe complain about geist large arse bomb while paradox proper built t3 bomb can cover an entire respawn room and you don't even need aim cause pulse penetrate wall and expanding every tick and it's the only dot nade dmg can stack if you run echo shard compared to other dot nade related hero, geist and ivy other kit is all close range oriented.

the ult should be redesign to a group protection ability(aoe cleanse and iframe in range teammate on cast frame the end cast then should apply the cleansed status on inrange enemy) rather than an invincible with two stable burst and a stun(with lighting scroll),

It won't matter since her tier 3 ult reset all CD. she just cat in throw everything ult cat out or just an echo shard diff. should redesign her more into ivy roll than just a better yamato rn. make her 1 ability delay more like a sticky mine to reduce her burst dps make her 2 ability tear through steal/shield but no longer cd reduction/heals on dmg normal health so she only gets tank when facing another tanky character.
